En dan nu de feiten, meneer Van der Spek. Uw bericht staat bol van misleidingen en halve waarheden die eerlijke duiding behoeven.
COVID-19 heeft wereldwijd veel levens geëist, dat staat buiten kijf. Echter, uw bewering dat de vaccins in het eerste jaar 20 miljoen levens hebben gered en dat de bijwerkingen verwaarloosbaar klein zijn, is te optimistisch en mist objectieve ondersteuning. Feit is dat veel gegevens over bijwerkingen en sterfgevallen door vaccins stelselmatig zijn onderschat en genegeerd. Systemen zoals VAERS in de VS en EudraVigilance in Europa tonen duizenden meldingen van ernstige bijwerkingen, inclusief sterfgevallen. Er zijn terechte zorgen die zowel door farmaceutische industrie als overheden onder het tapijt zijn geveegd. Lareb-directeur Agnes Kant zei het deze week nog in het FD: de coronavaccinaties hebben veel meer bijwerkingen dan andere vaccins en we weten er nog veel te weinig over.
Daarnaast moeten we de sterftecijfers onder de loep nemen. Mensen die bijvoorbeeld na een auto-ongeluk de IC binnenkwamen en positief testten op COVID-19, werden als coronadode geregistreerd. Toen ik dit voor het eerst aan de kaak stelde, werd ik beschuldigd van desinformatie. Later kreeg ik gewoon gelijk. Deze wijze van registratie heeft de cijfers vertekend, de data vervuild en de werkelijke impact van het virus onduidelijk gemaakt.
Wat betreft de lof voor Hugo de Jonge en zijn aanpak tijdens de pandemie, moeten we eerlijk zijn over de immense economische en sociale schade die de maatregelen hebben aangericht. Lockdowns hebben talloze bedrijven vernietigd, psychische problemen verergerd en het onderwijs voor en de ontwikkeling van kinderen ernstig verstoord. De gevolgen van deze draconische maatregelen zullen we nog jaren voelen en onze kinderen zullen daar de rekening van moeten betalen. De realiteit is dat het beleid eerder heeft bijgedragen aan een sociale en economische implosie, dan aan het effectief beschermen van de bevolking.
Het coronabeleid was politiek gemotiveerd, terwijl ons werd voorgehouden dat de wetenschap werd gevolgd. Kritische kanttekeningen van wetenschappers over de maatregelen werden genegeerd, ondanks dat zij erop wezen dat de schade voor de samenleving weleens groter kon zijn dan de bescherming die de maatregelen boden. Dit beleid was niet gebaseerd op wetenschap, maar diende een discutabele politieke agenda.
Het is ook belangrijk om te erkennen dat de effectiviteit van de vaccins tegen overdracht en ernstige ziekte inmiddels betwist is. Er is groeiend bewijs dat de langetermijnveiligheid en -effectiviteit van deze snel ontwikkelde en minimaal geteste vaccins ter discussie staan. De roep om meer transparantie en onafhankelijk wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar de (lange termijn) effecten is terecht en noodzakelijk.
Het is essentieel om kritisch te blijven en niet blindelings overheidsnarratieven te volgen. Het debat over de werkelijke impact van COVID-19 en de maatregelen moet gebaseerd zijn op gedegen en onafhankelijke wetenschap, niet op propaganda en angstzaaierij. BVNL zal zich blijven inzetten voor transparantie en waarheid, ook als dat betekent dat we de ongemakkelijke realiteit onder ogen moeten zien.

And now for the facts, Mr. Van der Spek. Your message is full of deceptions and half-truths that require honest interpretation.
COVID-19 has claimed many lives worldwide, that is beyond dispute. However, your claim that the vaccines saved 20 million lives in the first year and that the side effects are negligible is too optimistic and lacks objective support. The fact is that much data on side effects and deaths from vaccines has been systematically underestimated and ignored. Systems such as VAERS in the US and EudraVigilance in Europe show thousands of reports of serious side effects, including deaths. There are legitimate concerns that have been swept under the carpet by both the pharmaceutical industry and governments. Lareb director Agnes Kant said it this week in the FD: the corona vaccinations have many more side effects than other vaccines and we still know far too little about them.
In addition, we need to examine the mortality figures. For example, people who entered the ICU after a car accident and tested positive for COVID-19 were registered as corona deaths. When I first denounced this, I was accused of disinformation. Later I was simply proven right. This method of registration has distorted the figures, polluted the data and made the true impact of the virus unclear.
As for the praise for Hugo de Jonge and his approach during the pandemic, we must be honest about the immense economic and social damage that the measures have caused. Lockdowns have destroyed countless businesses, exacerbated mental health problems and severely disrupted education and the development of children. We will feel the consequences of these draconian measures for years to come and our children will have to pay the price. The reality is that the policy has contributed to a social and economic implosion rather than effectively protecting the population.
The corona policy was politically motivated, while we were told that it was following science. Critical comments from scientists about the measures were ignored, despite the fact that they pointed out that the damage to society could well be greater than the protection that the measures offered. This policy was not based on science, but served a questionable political agenda.
It is also important to acknowledge that the effectiveness of the vaccines against transmission and serious disease is now disputed. There is growing evidence that the long-term safety and effectiveness of these rapidly developed and minimally tested vaccines are questionable. The call for more transparency and independent scientific research into the (long-term) effects is justified and necessary.
It is essential to remain critical and not blindly follow government narratives. The debate about the real impact of COVID-19 and the measures must be based on sound and independent science, not on propaganda and fear-mongering. BVNL will continue to advocate for transparency and truth, even if that means facing the uncomfortable reality.
