and He had to flee to Egypt with His parents and that is why He was born into this world, and they never talk about that at 'Christmas':
John 3:16 is NOT THE Gospel!
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 is THE Gospel!
We all need to be saved from having to spend our eternity in God's lake of fire, because that's a fate we ALL deserve.
So be SAVED and believe that God LOVES us so MUCH that He manifested Himself on earth as the Lord JESUS Christ who shed His sinless blood for the forgiveness of our sins, who was buried and rose from the dead, three days later, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
If you believe this you're not only saved but sealed with the Holy Spirit and rapture-ready.
Read your Bible every day and talk to our creator about everything and make Him your best Friend and share this GOOD NEWS = GOSPEL with others.
Who Wrote Hebrews?
ReplyDelete✞ Acts 2: Pentecostal, Baptist, & Church of Christ. (Folks Acts 2 is Peter preaching to a Jewish church under the law.) The Body of Christ did NOT begin here.
ReplyDelete"Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2.38)
Another factor which is commonly ignored is the "JEWISH factor." Every person in Acts 2 is a Mosaic law observing Old Testament Jew. In fact, they are all gathered together to observe a 50 day JEWISH FEAST called Pentecost (verse 1). A fair reading of the whole chapter (especially verses 4, 14, and 36) will clearly reveal that *no Gentiles*-(non Jews) are present.
Since this involves *ONLY Jews* it involves a NATION (verse 36!!), NOT individuals! No one asked, "What must "I" do to be saved?" The question asked concerned the NATION of Israel: "Men and brethren, what shall "WE" do?" (verse 37) Not, "What shall "I" do," but rather, "What shall "WE" do?"
Acts 2 presents a NATION of people who come to realize that they have murdered their blessed Messiah and they're asking what "THEY" must do. It's a question concerning NATIONAL salvation.
The fact is that Acts 2:38 is NOT the "model" plan of salvation, nor are any of the other "water verses" which the cultists use. Only by taking such verses out of their context can one teach such heresy. All of the Bible is true, not just the favorite "proof texts" of the cults. Baptism saves no one.
Friend, if you have fallen for the *water gospel*, you MUST change your mind and trust Jesus Christ alone. The first part of Acts was written to JEWS ONLY. The early part of Acts is a Jewish church under the law in Acts 2. The Book of Acts is a book of transition out of the Gospel of the Kingdom into the Gospel of Christ or the Gospel of The Grace of God. The Gospel of the Kingdom is currently postponed. Israel rejected their Messiah.
The apostle Paul stressed the point that in order to be saved we must place our faith in Jesus Christ as laid out in the Gospel of Christ. "My gospel" etc are found only in the apostle Paul's teachings.
The Gospel of the Grace of God is the only thing that will deliver a man from sin, its penalty and power, and from the perils of this present age. The ultimate penalty for sin for the UNSAVED is God's eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire.
Paul states the Gospel of the Grace of God very plainly in 1Cor. 15.3,4:
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that **Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures**; And that **he was buried**, and that **he rose again the third day according to the scriptures**:”
Please think hard about the next two questions: Do you understand that you are a sinner (UNSAVED)? Do you believe what this verse is saying; that Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead to give us eternal life?
But what do you say to these two questions?
If your answer is “yes” then we are ready for a third question...
Would you trust Him as your Risen Savior right now? Trust that He did all that is needed to pay for your sins—past, present and, future—and believe on Him and Him alone as your Savior? There is nothing you can do, you must give up on everything else and trust His death and resurrection alone as the payment for your sins and your only way to heaven. Believe & trust to be SAVED.
1Ti 1:16 KJV - Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Jesus began something new at Saul's conversion (Acts 9). He began the church, the Body of Christ who are "In Christ" by the Gospel and not by the Covenant of Law. Paul is our pattern for today because we are the one's that "hereafter" believe on Christ to life everlasting.
The gospel taught by Jesus and the 12 apostles WAS TO Israel and WAS announcing that the prophesied EARTHLY kingdom was at hand. The apostle Paul’s message, which he received by revelation from the resurrected Jesus IS TO US, the gentiles.
ReplyDeletePaul’s gospel had been hid in God, since the world began and offers a HEAVENLY promise and salvation by grace alone without works… Two entirely different gospels!
🔥 Two Perspectives 👀🔥
The mentality of those who strive to obey the salvation message Jesus preached during his earthly ministry:
“I am striving to enter in at the strait gate (Luke 13:24) - abstaining from sin and keeping the commandments of Jesus in order to maintain the righteousness of the law and make myself acceptable to the Lord when the day of my judgment comes.
If my righteousness does not exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, I will not be able to enter into Christ’s kingdom (Matthew 5:19-20).
Many will seek to enter the kingdom, but will not be able. I don’t want him to say, ‘Depart from me, I never knew you’ (Matthew 7:21-23), so I will strive to achieve righteousness through obedience and good works (Acts 10:34-35, 1 John 3:7,10), because faith without works is dead (James 2:20) and I am justified by works (James 2:24).
I will sell my possessions (Luke 12:33-34), obey the law as Jesus commanded (Matthew 23:1-3, Luke 10:25-28) and strive to produce good fruit, as Jesus said branches that do not produce good fruit will be cast into the fire (John 15).
I believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that I will have life through faith in his name (John 20:31) - but I know I must repent, confess my sins (1 John 1:9), pray for forgiveness, and forgive others in order to be forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15).”
🔥⚔️🛡
The mentality of those who abide in the apostle Paul’s salvation message according to the dispensation of God’s grace for the church the body of Christ today:
Delete“I am saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:12-14) until the day of redemption because I believe Jesus died for the forgiveness of my sins, and that he was buried and raised again on the third day (1 Cor 15:1-4).
I have received the free gift of salvation (Romans 5:15-19) and the imputed righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21) because I’m saved by grace through faith (Eph 2:8-9), not according to any works of righteousness (Titus 3:4-5).
I aim to possess my vessel in honor and sanctification, not for the purpose of trying to earn salvation, but to walk in a way that is pleasing to God (1 Thess 4:1-5).
I understand that praying for forgiveness today in this present age would be insulting to the grace of God, as the scriptures clearly state that my sins have already been forgiven (Eph 4:32, Col 2:13).
I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, redeemed, justified, sanctified, purchased for a price, delivered from the power of darkness, reconciled to God by faith and translated into the kingdom of his dear Son (Col 1:12-14).”
🔥⚔️🛡
A quick word of advice for anyone who reads these two perspectives and still believes the salvation message Jesus delivered to the people of Israel is the same as the message Paul delivered to the church the body of Christ:
1. If you cannot see that Jesus and Paul preached two different messages, you should not be teaching or preaching to anyone.
2. You should take a break from posting Bible verses, and pray for discernment that will lead to understanding of sound doctrine.
3. You should set aside some time to study and learn correct understanding of the scriptures rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15), so you won’t be in danger of misleading others into a mixed up mess of confusion regarding salvation.
🔥⚔️🛡
In order to be ministers of reconciliation and ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-20), we must have correct understanding of how salvation is obtained today according to the dispensation of God’s grace (Ephesians 3:1-9).
This is our instructions from God that we’re talking about here - instructions that will determine our eternal destination and inheritance after this life in the flesh is finished. Screwing this up is not an option.
Who Is More Miserable? (1 Corinthians 15:19)
ReplyDeleteBy Kenneth Yates
In 1 Cor 15:19, Paul makes a statement that confused me for years. Maybe I am still confused, but I think I now know what Paul means. You can be the judge of that!
Paul states that if Christ has not risen from the dead, “we are of all men the most pitiable.” Some translations use the word miserable. For years I held the view that Paul is saying that if Christ did not rise from the dead, then Christianity is a lie. If that is the case, then Christians are the most miserable people on earth.
I always assumed the reason for this is that Christians are looking forward to living in an eternal kingdom. But if Christ did not rise from the dead, then our hope is in vain. We thought we were going to Paradise, but this life is all there is. We are pitiable people because we will be disappointed. It would have been better to know the truth that there is nothing after death. The unbeliever is better off because he is not expecting anything after death, and that is what will happen.
But is that true? If there is no kingdom and no resurrection, aren’t the believer and unbeliever exactly the same after death? Both enter a state of non-existence. What difference does it make if the Christian thought he would live forever? He will not know that he was fooled. In fact, one could argue that even a Christian faith that is false provided some joy in this life, as the believer looked forward to that day. The church could also provide a sense of community, or a place to meet new friends. Many, many, people have met their spouses at church.
Even if it is all a lie, can we say that we are more miserable than an unbeliever? Take, for example, an unbeliever who says this world is all there is. He might become addicted to drugs or engage in other harmful activities and die at a young age. Is the believer who avoids those things and lives a long and healthy life any more miserable than that–even if there is no kingdom on the other side?
At an even more basic level, however, I thought that if there is no kingdom, then it doesn’t matter what we do or don’t believe. We are all in the same boat. What difference does it make if I live 100 years or twenty? From an eternal perspective, if we are not raised, then the life of the unbeliever and of the believer is less than a nanosecond.
I think the reason for my problem with Paul’s statement was that I did not fully appreciate that 1 Corinthians 15 is not a chapter that deals with how a person “goes to heaven.” It is a chapter that deals with rewards in the coming kingdom. What Paul is saying is that for people who, like him, live for the approval of the Lord at the Judgment Seat of Christ, all their work is futile if our bodies are not raised. There were people at Corinth who believed in a coming kingdom but no resurrection (v 12). A believer who makes sacrifices in this life because he believes he will be rewarded for those sacrifices has been fooled. Our good works, suffering for the Lord, and sacrifices are foolish if there is no resurrection. Only if the body is resurrected can a believer receive rewards for the things done in that body.
It is like two people who inherit 100,000 dollars. One goes through the money quickly, spending it on whatever pleasures he desires. The other invests the money for his old age. If the invested money is lost or stolen, the second person would have been better off spending it when he had the chance.
Many Christians do not believe in rewards. If that is the case, the obedient believer is a sucker. He should just eat, drink, and be merry. To invest in a world in which there will be no return on that investment would be foolish. Look at a believer who wants to please the Lord. If there is no resurrection of the body, he is somebody to be ridiculed. We might say he is one to be pitied. Thankfully, that is not the case.
Romans – Philemon
ReplyDeleteThe Apostle Paul is “the apostle of the Gentiles.” He is the one to whom God gave “the dispensation of the grace of God” for us Gentiles, revealing to him “the mystery of Christ.” We, today, live in the dispensation of God’s grace. Paul is our apostle and it is in his epistles – Romans through Philemon – that God sets forth what He is doing with us today. Israel’s program is suspended during this dispensation. It will not be resumed or fulfilled until after this dispensation is concluded. Believers in this dispensation are members of God’s “new creation,” the “one new man,” the church the body of Christ. As Paul teaches, God will use His “new creation” to reconcile the heavenly places unto Himself. God formerly kept the “mystery of Christ” a mystery in order to take Satan in his own craftiness. Now, having made it known, God has revealed His plan for repossessing not only the earth, but the heavenly places also, from Satan’s usurped domination. God’s design for our edification today is set forth in a doctrinal progression from Romans to Philemon. Romans sets forth the primary doctrines of who God has made us to be “in Christ,” being justified, sanctified, living in this new dispensation, and being dealt with as “sons.” These foundational doctrines are expounded further in I Corinthians through Galatians, as Paul deals directly with the effectual working of these truths in our lives. Ephesians builds upon this foundation with further knowledge about God’s plan and purpose for us, especially in the heavenly places. Philippians and Colossians advance on, as Paul deals directly with the impact of this further knowledge upon our lives. The attitude and conduct we should have as mature saints is manifested and dealt with in the Thessalonian epistles. The four pastoral epistles that follow deal with the proper functioning of a local church, which God has designed to function as the “pillar and ground of the truth” for “godly edifying” in this dispensation. This dispensation will end with the Lord rapturing the church to be with Himself in the heavenly places.
You are NOT “the bride of Christ”
ReplyDeleteNever once in the King James Bible do we find the term, “the Bride of Christ.” That is a religious term, and frankly, it is a core doctrine of the 👉Roman Catholic Church👈
The BODY of Christ cannot be the Bride of Christ too. That’s just insane and quite frankly, ignorant.
I once was ignorant too! I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for getting me out of my ignorance and into sound doctrine 🙏✝️
You think my words are too harsh? Most of my attacks come from ppl who would rather listen to their favorite “YouTube teacher” or their own “pastor” instead of opening their King James Bibles, and studying their Bibles the way they have been instructed to 2 Timothy 2:15 KJB 📖 That will not fly when standing before Jesus Christ and saying well so and so told me ‼️❌
Replacement theology has seeped into these denominations (44k and rising) and many of these self proclaiming “pastors” are reprobates in the faith who went to “Bible collage”.
Colossians 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through 👉philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world👈, and 👉not after Christ👈
Please know what Jesus Christ is saying in His written word, and stop following after reprobates who line their pockets and smile all the way to the bank.
Romans - Philemon is the doctrine (YOUR INSTRUCTIONS) to the body of Christ. We are in the Grace dispensation - MYSTERY.

“When an honest man discovers he is mistaken, he will either cease being mistaken, or cease being honest.”
📝 The nation of Israel & the Body of Christ are NOT the same. The "Bride of Christ" & the Body of Christ are NOT the same. I would definitely add another education we receive to the list above. You receive an education from God through the study of His pure preserved written Word of truth rightly divided the King James Bible. See 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV.
Is the Godhead/Trinity a Biblical concept?
ReplyDeleteIS GOD REALLY ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS? OR IS HE THREE GODS? DOES THE BIBLE TEACH THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY/GODHEAD?
by Shawn Brasseaux
Does God exist in three Persons? If so, does that mean that Christians worship three Gods? The term “Trinity” does not appear in the Bible, but the word “Godhead” appears three times in the King James Bible (Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9)—modern Bibles, unfortunately, either omit or water down this term. What is the Trinity? Is it a biblical doctrine? We want to answer these questions using the Bible, not some denominational handbook.
One of the strongest claims in the Bible for God existing in three Persons is the “famous Trinitarian proof” (the Johannine Comma) of 1 John 5:7, which reads: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” Obviously, this verse speaks of three Persons all being God, all three being one. Notice, the Godhead is not three Gods; but three Persons in one Godhead. We have God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ, “the Word” of John 1:1,14), and God the Holy Ghost. Notice how the verse says the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost “are one:” this is reminiscent of what Jesus said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.”
Unfortunately, unlike the King James Bible, most modern English Bibles, such as NIV, NASB, NRSV, ESV, omit 1 John 5:7 (this is also true of the depraved Jehovah’s Witness “bible,” which denies the deity of Jesus Christ!). Why? Because their corrupt underlying Greek New Testament texts omit this verse. It should be noted that the Old Syriac (A.D. 170) and the Old Latin (A.D. 200) contain 1 John 5:7 and over a dozen church fathers and writers quote it between A.D. 150 and A.D. 550, some predating the corrupt modern Bibles’ manuscripts that omit it. All of 1 John 5:7 belongs in the Bible; it is an important verse! But, there is more in the Bible to support the doctrine of the Trinity.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:1,14). By noting the wording, we learn that Jesus Christ, “the Word” (cf. Revelation 19:13), is God. According to John 1:14, “the Word became flesh:” unquestionably, that refers to Jesus Christ (God’s incarnation, His indwelling a human body). In the beginning Jesus Christ “was with God” (indicating He is a Person separate from God the Father), and Jesus Christ “was God” (indicating He is one with [equal to] God the Father).
In 2 Corinthians 13:14, we read: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” Jesus Christ told His apostles, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19). Yet again, we see God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
Immediately after John the Baptist water baptized Jesus, the Holy Spirit descended like a dove, and as it lighted upon the Lord Jesus, the God the Father declared, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:16,17; Mark 1:10,11; Luke 3:22,23). There are the three Persons of the Godhead in three passages.
Look at Ephesians 2:18: “For through him [Jesus Christ] we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” Here are all three members of the Godhead again. “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:2). And again, all three Persons of the Godhead are found in one verse.
DeleteAt the midpoint of the seven-year Tribulation (which is after the rapture), a remnant of Jewish believers will flee to the mountains of Israel. This remnant is described as “the woman.” In Revelation 12:6, we see “And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.” This place in the mountains will be “prepared of God, that they should feed her there….” Notice “they”—this is another reference to the triune Godhead.
In Ephesians 4:4-6, we find a list of seven distinct doctrines that are vital to the Dispensation of Grace—by the way, seven is God’s number of perfection: (1) one Body, the Church the Body of Christ; (2) one Spirit, the Holy Spirit; (3) one hope, the hope of our calling; (4) one Lord, God the Son Jesus Christ; (5) one faith, the faith of Jesus Christ; (6) one baptism, not water baptism, but the supernatural baptism of 1 Corinthians 12:13; and (7) one God and Father. All three members of the Godhead—Father, Son, and Spirit—are mentioned yet again.
In the Person of the Holy Spirit, God indwells us believers and seals us until the “day of redemption;” that is, the rapture (Ephesians 4:30). This Holy Spirit is the same Spirit that indwelt Christ while He was in His earthly ministry (Mark 3:29,30). Jesus Christ, God the Son, prayed to God the Father in Matthew 27:46, Mark 15:34, Luke 23:46, and John chapter 17. Obviously, Jesus was not talking to Himself, so He was communicating with God His Father.
The Holy Spirit is not “God’s active force,” but rather the Holy Spirit is a Person of the Godhead (Acts 5:3,4). A force does not have a seat of emotions; we know that the Holy Spirit is not an “active force” because the Holy Spirit can be “grieved” and saddened (Ephesians 4:30). The Holy Spirit can also teach (1 Corinthians 2:13) and pray (Romans 8:26,27).
The Father is not over God the Son, and the God the Son is no greater than the Holy Spirit. All three are coequal in power and authority (however, because Jesus Christ is both God and man, He can, in His humanity, submit Himself to His heavenly Father’s will [see Matthew 26:39,42; Mark 14:36; Luke 22:42; Philippians 2:5-11]). Jesus made it very clear, “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all… I and my Father are one” (John 10:29,30)—the Jews then took up stones to stone Jesus (verse 31)!
The best way to comprehend the Godhead is to consider that we are all equally human by nature, but we are also individuals. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all individuals, but they are all equally God by nature and in essence (all three are omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, righteous, just, holy, et cetera), thus making all three “one” (1 John 5:7).
God existing in a Trinity prevents tyranny or deception. If God were just one Person, He could be a bully and He could be dishonest. However, all three Persons of the Godhead testify to the truthfulness and integrity of the other two members. They testify to the truth of each other, just as Bible says, “At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witness,” the testimony is to be believed—the testimony of one person is not to be accepted unless at least one or two others corroborate him (Deuteronomy 17:6; Matthew 18:16; 2 Corinthians 13:1; 1 Timothy 5:19; Hebrews 10:28).
DeleteGod the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit live for each other. They fellowship with one another, and they want us to fellowship with them! God became a man in order to restore our fellowship with Him. Notice what Jesus Christ prayed to His heavenly Father just before He went to Calvary’s cross: “[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. [24] Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world” (John 17:5,24).
We cannot see all three Persons of the Godhead. However, God the Son stepped out of eternity and entered time, and “in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9; cf. John 14:9; Colossians 1:15; Hebrews 1:3). Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, so He can take God by the hand and man by the hand and link them (1 Timothy 2:5)! The invisible triune Godhead has been made visible via the God-Man, Jesus Christ!
So, God exists in three Persons—they are three Persons in one Godhead; not three Gods. The three Persons of the Godhead—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—are unique Individuals, but they are also similar in that they are all fully God. Indeed, the doctrine of the Godhead—God existing in three Persons—is one of the most difficult Bible concepts to grasp, but we take the doctrine of the Trinity by faith.
IS THE TRINITY A “NEW TESTAMENT INVENTION?” OR, IS IT FOUND IN THE OLD TESTAMENT TOO?
Opponents to the doctrine of the Trinity claim that it is only a “New Testament teaching,” or that the Trinity promotes polytheism (the belief in many gods). For instance, modern-day Jews reject the doctrine of the Trinity because Deuteronomy 6:4 says: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.” If this verse disproves the Trinity (as present-day Jews claim), then that would mean that Deuteronomy 6:4 contradicts a number of Old Testament passages—verses in the Hebrew Bible—that support the Trinity.
Although God did not explicitly reveal the doctrine of the Trinity in the Old Testament like He does in the New, we can go back to the Old Testament and see references to the Trinity there. Remember that the Bible is a progressive revelation, with things kept secret in the Old Testament and later revealed in the New.
For example, God the Father tells God the Son, “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Psalm 110:1). Compare this to Acts 2:34-36. If the Trinity is not found in the Old Testament, then what is the meaning of Psalm 110:1?
Genesis 1:26 says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Notice the word “our” appears twice. The triune God made mankind in their image, as in one God in three Persons. In Genesis 3:22, after Adam and Eve fall into sin, we see the LORD God saying, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:” Notice that pronoun “us.” This is a reference to the Trinity. (At this point, the following objection is raised to avoid the Trinity doctrine: “How do we know the words ‘our image’ in Genesis 1:26 do not mean that God made man in His image and the angels’ image?” Because Genesis 1:27 says: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Man is made in “God’s image,” the triune Godhead’s image.)
DeleteWe read in Genesis 11:6-7: “[6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. [7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” Notice, the LORD says “Let us go down.” Like in Genesis 3:22, the “us” is a reference to the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
In Psalm 2:1-3, we read the prophetic statement of Israel rejecting her Messiah-King the Lord Jesus (1000 years before it happened): “[1] Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? [2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, [3] Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
Notice, Israel’s religious leaders conspire with the Roman government to kill Jesus Christ (verses 1 and 2). Verse 3 says it all—the Jews and Romans want to “break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” To whom is “their” referring? Look at verse 2: “the LORD, and his anointed.” This is God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ (“Christ” is Greek for “anointed one;” in Hebrew, the word is “Messiah”). God the Father and God the Son share power over mankind, and rebellious mankind wants to destroy the Godhead’s authority over them.
Read Isaiah 48:12,16: “[12] Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last… [16] Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.” This is the Trinity again!
It should also be noted that the Hebrew word translated “God”—Elohim—such as in Genesis 1:1, is plural, as in three Persons, and yet He is one LORD, JEHOVAH (Deuteronomy 6:4).
Is God a triune God? YES! Does the Bible Teach the doctrine of the Trinity? YES! The Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, gives us ample proof that God is a triune God, that He exists as three separate but equal Persons—God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. They are all fully God, yet they are unique Persons too, just as we are all fully human, yet we are unique persons. All three members of the Godhead operate in perfect accordance with each other, and they are coequal and coeternal (none of them were created, and they exercise the same power)

Hosea 1:9 (KJB)
9. Then said God, Call his name "Lo-Ammi": for ye are not My people, and I will NOT be your God.
10. Yet the number of the "Children of Israel" shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, "Ye" (capitalized, plural pronoun, referring to the nation Israel) are not My people, there it shall be said unto them, "Ye" (Israel) are the sons of the living God.
11. Then shall the "Children of Judah" (Judah, Benjamin, two southern tribes) and the "Children of Israel" (10 scattered northern tribes) be gathered together (see John 10:14-16), and appoint themselves one head ( one fold) and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
(Unfortunately, the Great Commission for Israel was a bust, due to Israel as a nation rejecting Jesus Christ as their Messiah, King, Shepherd. As of today during the dispensation of Grace, Israel is in blindness (Rom.11:25), as well as all her prophetic program along with all her religious obediences and ordinances. The Great Commission will not be fulfilled unto Christ's Second Coming.)

8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Before the Flood there were about 6 BILLION people on earth and God drowned them all except Noah and his family after having waited for 120 YEARS to see if they would change their minds = repent.
They refused and God annihilated them all.
You accuse God of being a SATANIST!
UNIVERSALISM is a belief that EVERYONE today are automatically HAS forgiveness of sins, and that our forgiveness from God happened AT the cross. Jesus and Paul teach us that forgiveness is only "IN CHRIST" by faith, that is we get IN Christ ONLY by believing the TRUE Gospel preached by our apostle. HOW to be "in Christ? 👉A PERSON MUST BELIEVE PAUL'S GOSPEL.👈
ReplyDeleteActual forgiveness, for the individual, doesn't occur until we are IN CHRIST, according to Jesus Christ and apostle Paul (Acts 26:18; 2Cor 5:19; Col 2:10-13 KJB).
We are not IN CHRIST until we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel (Eph 3:6 KJB).
Before we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel, we are IN ADAM, and don't have God's forgiveness.
Apostle Paul writes ...
2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJB):
"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."
The sense in which the whole world is reconciled to God is POTENTIAL, not actual.
Christ's death for ALL made everyone RECONCILABLE, i.e. saveable; potential justification.
If everyone was already RECONCILED, Paul wouldn't be calling anyone to BE reconciled (2Cor 5:20 KJB).
ACTUAL SALVATION and forgiveness of sins does NOT come automatically, but by grace through faith in Christ and his finished work of the cross as payment for our sins, the moment we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel without works (1Cor 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9; Eph 1:13 KJB).
The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23 KJB)!
For as IN Adam all die (1 Cor 15:22 KJB).
Either you trust Christ and accept his offer of forgiveness ... OR, you reject his offer and pay for your sins yourself for eternity in hell.
There will be NO 'righteous' people in hell!
There is NO middle ground: there are those IN CHRIST, i.e. the righteous, and there are those IN ADAM, i.e. the UNrighteous.
Believing Paul's gospel (1Cor 15:1-4) without works (Eph 2:8-9 KJB) is what makes a person forgiven, 'righteous,' and saved.
Only God is righteous.
Being IN Christ (God the Son) is the only way to be righteous, and forgiven.
Jesus said to apostle Paul on the road to Damascus ...
Acts 26:18 (KJB):
"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith THAT IS IN ME." (IN Christ).

UNIVERSAL FORGIVENESS BOAT SINKING
ReplyDeleteBy LeighAnn Mycko
After listening to Truth Time Radio's latest YouTube video about their view of God's forgiveness and reconciliation in this dispensation of grace, with my husband today, he said, "But, wait, don't we have a verse that teaches us that we receive forgiveness by believing?" And, I said, "Yes, we do," and I showed him the following passage ...
Jesus said to Paul:
Acts 26:17-18 (KJV) Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom NOW I SEND THEE, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, THAT THEY MAY RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, and inheritance among them which are sanctified BY FAITH that is in me.
My husband said, "That passage settles the argument completely! Because if our forgiveness was RECEIVED AT THE CROSS, Christ wouldn't have been sending Paul AFTER THE CROSS to open their eyes that they MAY RECEIVE forgiveness"
My husband got it in that moment, just like I did when I read it.
This is the same passage I read several years ago that turned me away from this bad doctrine which claims we ALL HAVE forgiveness today, and that there are forgiven people in hell. In that passage, Jesus tells Paul that forgiveness of sins is something to be RECEIVED BY FAITH ... which is the same as saying forgiveness of sins is something to be RECEIVED BY BELIEVING (the gospel).
((( IF ))) we ALL RECEIVED forgiveness AT the cross, why would Jesus say to Paul that he is sending Paul "that they MAY RECEIVE forgiveness of sins ...?"
According to Truth Time Radio we already HAVE forgiveness, Truth Time Radio says we've ALREADY RECEIVED forgiveness. If that's the case, then why didn't Jesus say to Paul, "Paul I now send thee to open their eyes and know that they all now HAVE forgiveness of sins"?
"That they may receive" is future tense. Paul's account of his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, here in Acts chapter 26, is AFTER the cross, yet Truth Time Radio says that AT the cross is when everyone RECEIVED forgiveness of sins. So, if it's true that we ALL HAVE FORGIVENESS (which I don't believe because of Acts 26:18), then Jesus wouldn't have told Paul he was sending him to open their eyes that they MAY receive forgiveness by faith that is in Christ.
Acts 26:18 totally and fully sinks the UNIVERSAL FORGIVENESS boat.
Oh, and by the way, we also have a verse that tells us that works are something we HAVE DONE ...
Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by WORKS of righteousness WHICH WE HAVE DONE, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
So, working IS doing, according to Titus 3:5.
And, in Romans 4:5, Paul tells us clearly that believing ISN'T a work ...
Romans 4:5 (KJV) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Therefore, since Paul tells us in Romans 4:5 that believing ISN'T a work, and in Titus 3:5 tells us that works which we have done (and do, and doing), the only honest conclusion can be that believing isn't 'doing'; it's doing versus believing.
And, Acts 26:18 PROVES (to the KJV Bible believer who is rightly dividing) that UNIVERSAL FORGIVENESS is false.
Jesus sent Paul to open their eyes that they MAY RECEIVE forgiveness of sins by faith, i.e. by believing the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation.
2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV) We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

When Believing in Jesus Can’t Save You
ReplyDeleteBy Justin Johnson
“Are you saved?”
“I believe in Jesus.”
If you think this is what saves you, you might be deceived. You say, why wouldn’t someone who believes in Jesus be saved?
Because you can believe in Jesus and not be saved.
Don’t get me wrong. I believe in Jesus, too, and think that the salvation of all men is only found in him. Yet, the greatest lies resemble truth. The lie in this false gospel becomes obvious when you consider what is not expressed by this oversimplified statement.
For example, Muslims believe in Jesus: he is considered a prophet in the religion of Islam and the Koran. The Hindus believe in Jesus: he is a great guru for them. Historians believe in Jesus: he was a first century Jew who lived in Galilee. Even the devils in hell believe in Jesus and tremble!
Do you see that there are times when merely believing in Jesus cannot save? Here is how you know when believing in Jesus cannot save you.
When you don’t know who Jesus is.
If you don’t know that Jesus was Christ, the Son of God, then he cannot save you. Jesus said:
“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” – John 8:24
This means Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16; Col 2:9). If he is not, he cannot be your Saviour (Titus 2:13). God is the only Saviour (Isa 43:11). If Jesus is not the fullness of the Godhead bodily, then he is an imposter, a liar, or worse.
When you don’t know what Jesus did.
Why did Jesus need to die? If you don’t know, then let me be frank: you are not saved, but you can be.
Maybe he was not crucified at all like the Koran wrongly teaches? Perhaps he died naturally, or died without blood like some false Bibles teach. If he did not die, shedding his blood, cursed on a cross, then your sins cannot be forgiven (Eph 1:7; Heb 9:22).
Without the cross, God has no means to save anyone.
Did he not rise from the dead? Then, you have no proof Jesus was Christ, no hope of glory, no comfort in death, no salvation from sins, and no expectation of eternal life (Rom 4:25; Matt 12:40; 1 Thess 4:14).
Delete“And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.” – 1 Corinthians 15:17
When Jesus did not complete the work.
James, the apostle to the twelve tribes, writes that faith without works is dead. Mere belief in Jesus does not justify unto salvation. After all, even the devils believe and know who Jesus is:
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”- James 2:19
“And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.” – Luke 4:41
James was teaching justification to the twelve tribes of Israel under their law covenant. This was not written with the knowledge of the mystery of Christ, the gospel of God’s grace.
The gospel of grace is that Christ did all the work necessary for your salvation (Rom 4:5; Titus 3:5). This is called grace, and it is offered freely (Rom 3:24).
There is nothing else that need be done (Col 2:10). How can this be? Christ did it all. Your only response is faith.
The only way to be saved is by grace through faith, and this is only possible if the work needed to save you was completed by Christ, the object of your faith.
If you think you must contribute some work in order to seal the deal with God, then believing in Christ is not enough to save you. You are not trusting his finished work on your behalf (i.e his grace to you).
How Believing in Jesus Can Save You
The Lord Jesus Christ revealed the gospel that saves any man today to the apostle Paul. This gospel of grace allows Christ to save through mere belief in the gospel of Christ (Eph 1:13)
“To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” – Romans 3:25
Before that time, the righteousness of God to save by faith alone was not known, and so faith by itself would impugn the righteousness of God to save (James 2:20).
Christ had to make himself known to Israel for people to believe who he was, he had to die and resurrect for men to know what he did, and the mystery of the gospel had to be revealed before belief could stand alone without works, law, or Israel (i.e. pure grace).
There was a time when belief in Jesus was either impossible, or insufficient, but now according to the revelation of the mystery, faith in Christ is what saves upon hearing the gospel of the grace of God.
Jesus was God in the flesh who died for your sins, rose from the dead, and revealed the gospel of his finished work having done everything necessary for your salvation. Trust him to be saved according to the gospel of grace.
If you don’t know who Jesus is, what he did, or fail to trust his finished work, then believing in Jesus cannot save you.
Are you saved?
“I believe in Jesus”
So what. What do you believe about him? How does he save you? How do you know?
Facts you should know – 4
ReplyDeleteIf you want to understand your Bible properly, you must understand the gospel of our salvation. Even people who reject dispensational Bible study go to Paul’s gospel when they share the gospel with unsaved people. The problem is, they add a lot of Israel’s rituals and ordinances to Paul’s gospel and by doing this, they cancel the grace of God (Rom. 11:6).
The gospel of our salvation is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4:
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel …
2 By which also ye are saved …
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (1 Cor. 15:1-4).
This is the ONLY GOSPEL by which a sinner can be saved in the dispensation of the grace of God. Do not add anything to it. If you add something to faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, you change the gospel of our salvation to ‘ANOTHER GOSPEL' (2 Cor. 11:4).
‘Another gospel’ is the only gospel millions of so-called Christians know ☹️
They are therefore still lost, although the devil and his ministers of righteousness have convinced them they are saved and on their way to heaven.
This is serious business we are discussing here. People are lost because they add water baptism, communion, daily confession of sins, baptism with the Holy Spirit, and many other Jewish rituals and ordinances to faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. If you are one of them, I pray that your spiritual understanding will be enlightened by the Holy Spirit to understand the gospel of your salvation.
Why is the gospel of our salvation not the gospel Peter preached on the day of Pentecost? Peter’s gospel was to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).
The gospel of our salvation is not Acts 2:38 because God saved the apostle Paul in Acts chapter 9 and gave him the new gospel of our salvation that applies in the dispensation of grace. God decided to change the gospel of salvation from Acts 2:38 to 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
You need to believe me to be saved and to understand your Bible properly. This was what Paul wrote:
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11-12).
Q&A – Are the Lost Already Forgiven?
ReplyDeleteBy David OSteen
There are some Mid-Acts dispensationalists nowadays promoting (and boy do they ever) a new teaching that says since Christ died on the cross for the sins of the whole world that means the lost are already forgiven. They say that the forgiveness of sins does not equal salvation, and that those who die lost will go to hell for unbelief, not for their sins since they are forgiven. Some of them arrogantly claim that those who disagree with them do not understand the gospel and are probably not saved.
Their primary proof-text is 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
This is just another example of isolating a text and giving it a private interpretation while ignoring clear passages that teach on the contrary.
To reconcile is to make peace where there was enmity (Col. 1:20). The enmity was on our part and the reconciliation is on God’s part. God reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ (by the way, there are various reconciliations taught in Paul’s epistles, but that is another study for another day). Those who have been reconciled have been given the ministry of reconciliation which means it is our responsibility to preach the “word of reconciliation” which has been “committed unto us.” Who better to give the message of reconciliation than those who have been reconciled? Lost sinners are not ambassadors for Christ! How did Christ make reconciliation? The answer is found in the remainder of the passage (2 Cor. 5:19-21).
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
God was in Christ – When Christ shed His blood on the cross it was the pure blood of God (Acts 20:28).
reconciling the world unto himself – He did a work through His death, burial, and resurrection that made it POSSIBLE for the world to be saved. God will not accept man’s attempts at reconciliation (religion). He has been sinned against and He alone sets the terms for reconciliation.
not imputing their trespasses unto them – The word “impute” means to put on the account of. God took the sin of the world off its account and put it on Himself (v.21). Christ died for OUR sins (Rom. 5:10; Col. 1:21-22), but that payment is only applied to those who are IN CHRIST.
that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him – Those who receive the offer of reconciliation by faith also have the righteousness of Christ imputed to their account. Reconciliation is based on imputation. It is unbiblical to say a sinner does not have his sins imputed to him without also having the righteousness of Christ imputed to him. The negative and positive aspects of imputation go together in reconciliation and cannot be separated!
The scriptural answers to the following questions prove the lost are not already forgiven.
Does this passage, or any other, say that the lost are forgiven before they believe the gospel? No.
What is reconciliation? Making peace between enemies. A sinner cannot have “peace with God” without being justified by faith (Rom. 5:1).
Does reconciliation also include the righteousness of Christ being imputed? Yes.
Is reconciliation automatic? No. Reconciliation is available but not automatic. Otherwise, we would not need to beseech (implore with urgency) sinners to be reconciled to God. It is “unto all” but only “upon all them that believe” (Rom. 3:22-24).
Forgiven
DeleteMy sins have been forgiven because I chose to possess what provision he made for them almost 2000 years ago.
As a result, I no longer have any past, present or future sins reckoned to my account.
Thus, it is no longer I who commits sin but rather my body of flesh which hasn't (yet) been redeemed.
Romans 8:23
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Religion says one must forgive, but one should never forget, yet God makes you a new creature and gives you an inheritance in heavenly places when you believe the gospel of Christ.
Ephesians 1:11-12
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Forgiven means one is no longer under the power of Satan -- you are no longer his pawn, you can see as you no longer walk in darkness, but now walk in the light of the glorious gospel of Christ.
Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Universalism and the Bible
ReplyDeleteDescription:
Universalism has many shapes and forms. The most liberal doubt the truth of the Bible in one way or another, instead choosing to rely on the kind of God they feel comfortable with.
There is however a variety of universalism that claims to be Biblical (although normally not dispensational). When there is a claim to being Biblical, then there is common ground to work with.
This lesson goes through doctrines found in the Bible that make it near impossible for an universalist to be a Bible believer. The universalist always sees a hope for everyone to reconcile, the Bible is not as optimistic toward man.

As we know, Paul wrought mighty miracles, as Peter and the Pentecostal believers had done. Indeed, a comparison of Paul’s miracles with those of Peter shows Paul’s to have been the mightier. This was mainly in divine confirmation of his apostleship, since Paul was not one of the twelve (II Cor. 12:11,12).
But it is clear from a study of Paul’s ministry and his epistles that these miraculous demonstrations were to vanish away as the dispensation of grace was fully ushered in (See I Cor. 13:8; Rom. 8:22,23; II Cor. 4:16-5:4; 12:10; Phil. 3:20,21; I Tim. 5:23; II Tim. 4:20). In fact, in the last seven of Paul’s epistles nothing whatever is said about signs, miracles, healings, tongues, visions or the casting out of demons.
How, then, does God now empower His servants in their conflict with Satan and his demons? The answer is: by the Holy Spirit through His Word, as it is preached with conviction. There is a great volume of evidence as to this in Paul’s epistles, including his early epistles. Two examples:
I Cor. 2:4: “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing [persuasive] words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.”
Mark well, this was power in his preaching, not in performing miracles. Indeed at the very same time when he proclaimed his God-given message with such power, he himself was very weak, for in the preceding verse he says:
“And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.”
The other example is I Thes. 1:5:
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance…”
In Thessalonica too, Paul had suffered much opposition and persecution, until the whole city was in an uproar (Acts 17:1-5), and this may well have been the result of his powerful preaching. Out of the “uproar,” however, sprang the beloved Thessalonian church, an example and inspiration to those won to Christ under more benign circumstances.
Will The Church or The Body of Christ Return With Jesus On White Horses In Revelation 19:14???
ReplyDelete1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 1599 Geneva Bible
Delete13 I would not brethren, have you ignorant concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus is dead, and is risen, even so them which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him.
15 For this say we unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which live, and are remaining in the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which sleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then shall we which live and remain, be caught up with them also in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore, comfort yourselves one another with these words.
"and so shall we ever be with the Lord" proves that the Body of Christ remains in heaven at the time of the Second Coming of JESUS Christ.
Letters to the 7 Churches
ReplyDeleteThe Separation of the Grace Gospel
ReplyDeleteIf Paul were merely another minister of Peter’s gospel of circumcision, then why was there so much controversy between the circumcision and Paul’s churches?
“When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.” – Acts 15:2
It seems we can’t read a single epistle of Paul without a mention of Jesus-followers teaching contrary to him. He spends multiple chapters in Romans explaining information about Israel; the Corinthians were taught about those “under law”; Galatians were warned not to follow the gospel of circumcision. The great contention in the early church was not with unbelievers, it was amidst those who claimed to follow Jesus.
The explanation, of course, is that Paul was teaching a separate message of Jesus Christ, the mystery of Christ. He received this special message from the Lord Jesus himself (Gal 1:1, 11-12).
Only after we separate the apostleship of Paul from the ministry of the twelve can we understand the strong contentions that arose in the beginning between these two ministries.
A Necessary Separation
When God saw Jerusalem reject his Holy Ghost filled apostles, he gave a new dispensation to Paul and began to separate Jerusalem and Israel from his salvation (1 Cor 9:17, Rom 11:25).
God first separates a unique apostle to do his work and tells him to go to the Gentiles. Paul and his ministry are separated geographically from Jerusalem. As Paul ministers to the Jews in Gentile lands he tells them that salvation has been taken from them and given to Gentiles:
“It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.” – Acts 13:46
Later, the authoritative apostles in Jerusalem agree that Paul would not teach his gospel of grace among the circumcision, because of Paul’s authority given by the Lord (Gal 2:7-9). Instead Paul would go to the whole world of uncircumcised to teach his gospel. Not only was this giving credence to the gospel of grace superseding the gospel of the Matthew commission, but it was also separating his gospel from the people who had believed the kingdom gospel.
Paul’s ministry and the ministry of the twelve apostles over twelve tribes were doctrinally separated. Israel would not be given the special privilege of the gospel during this dispensation.
The Separation in Action
There are many times when Paul recognizes this separation in his ministry. One of the most mentioned is Romans 15:20:
“Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:”
However, he also perpetuates the doctrinal separation when Peter comes to Galatia and carries out the law teaching among Paul’s crowd (Gal 2:11-13). Such an admixture of doctrines could only cause confusion and subvert Paul’s message. Paul then rightly rebukes Peter.
Likewise, when Paul was traveling among Peter’s group, he rightly keeps his gospel separate from the law keepers under James’ ministry according to their agreement (Acts 21:26-27). The gospel of the grace of God was never taught in Jerusalem.
God separated the gospel of grace from the circumcision. Peter’s remnant ministry to the circumcision ended and now all men everywhere are told to hear the one gospel which is the mystery of Christ (Rom 16:25). God has moved on, so should the church.
We Do Not Worship the Messenger
ReplyDeleteSince we study the further revelation given to Paul about Christ we are often accused of worshiping the messenger more than the Lord. They say, “You worship Paul!”
There is nothing further from the truth, as the only way to appropriately worship and glorify God is to follow the instructions sent by his messengers.
We do not worship Paul: Paul is not God, but we find our instructions from the Lord through this apostle sent specifically to the Gentiles and the church called the Body of Christ (Rom 11:13).
The Prophets Not Worshipped
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,” – Hebrews 1:1
In time past God sent spokesmen to give bold appeals to the nation Israel. It behooved Isrel to follow the instructions of God’s messengers. Yet, it was forbidden to worship any of them according to the first commandment (Exo 34:14). Obedience to the prophets was not worship of the prophets.
Israel worshiped God by obeying the God sent messengers. They were not to worship the messenger, but were to respect their office as prophets of the God of Israel.
John the Baptist Not Worshipped
John the baptist was sent by God as his messenger to prepare the way of the Lord. This popular prophet was called “great in the sight of the Lord” (Luke 1:15). Jesus said there is not a greater prophet than John (Luke 7:28).
Despite his powerful message and magnified position as God’s messenger, John went on record as confessing that he was not the Christ.
“And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.” – John 1:20
His office was magnified, but he was still only God’s messenger and should not be worshipped. To worship God, Israel should have submitted to John’s message of water baptism unto repentance:
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” – Matt 3:11
Today, some denominations continue to magnify his office, despite the further messages from God.
Peter Denies Worship
Jesus said, “Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” – Luke 7:28
Peter and the God’s chosen twelve apostles were to deliver the gospel of the kingdom to Israel. Peter’s message was greater than John’s. He was given heavenly power through the Holy Ghost, and for this some thought to worship him.
Delete“And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.” – Acts 10:25
With all his power and commandments directly from the Lord, Peter was still only God’s messenger and should not be worshipped.
“But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.” – Acts 10:26
It was Peter’s office and message that was greater than John’s. To worship God at that time meant to follow Peter’s message of the Messiah and the kingdom.
Paul Denies Worship
Further still is God’s message revealed to the apostle Paul. To Paul was revealed the mystery of Christ kept secret since the foundation of the world.
Paul was sent with a new message to a new audience with a new destiny based upon the dispensation of God’s grace to all men.
As a result some thought to worship Paul, but he denies their worship.
“And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker… Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:” – Acts 14:12-15
As God’s messenger, Paul is not to be worshipped, but in the present dispensation we worship God by obeying the message given through Paul by the Lord Jesus.
Paul’s message was the revelation of the mystery of Jesus Christ. It was “Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” By studying Paul’s message we are emphasizing the Lord Jesus Christ and his work on the cross in this dispensation.
Worshiping God
It does not deny God any due worship to magnify the office of one messenger over other messengers as further instructions from God.
“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:” – Rom 11:13
We do not worship the messengers, but God’s messengers tell us how we are to appropriately worship God. Today, we worship God through Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery (Rom 16:25-27).
Are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John Old Testament Books?
ReplyDeleteMost every casual Bible student would know that the New Testament section of the Bible begins with the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We may also know that the origin of this division comes from the different languages from which they were translated.
However, naming the Greek portion of Scripture as the New Testament could possibly be the origin of many problems people have in understanding Jesus’ earthly ministry. For according to the Scripture, the majority of these four narratives of the life of our Lord Jesus are indeed Old Testament.
Hebrews 9:15-17 says:
“And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament that BY MEANS OF DEATH, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also OF NECESSITY BE THE DEATH OF THE TESTATOR. For A TESTAMENT IS OF FORCE AFTER MEN ARE DEAD: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.”
Hebrews 9:15-17 explains that it was after Jesus’ death that the New Testament took force. Galatians 4:4 explains:
“…when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, MADE UNDER THE LAW,…”
The Mosaic Law was the order of the Old Covenant. According to Galatians 4:4, Jesus was born and lived under the Old Covenant. It was not until his death that the New Testament could be made available. Since the large majority of each book and Jesus’ entire earthly ministry occurred before his death then it should be considered that these four books are still in the context of the Old Covenant.
This would explain why Paul wrote that Jesus ‘was a minister of the circumcision to confirm the promises made unto the Fathers’ (Romans 15:8).
This would also explain why Jesus operated according to the Old Testament:
Was circumcised (Luke 2:27)
Water Baptized (Matt 3:15)
Taught Conditional forgiveness (Matt 6:14)
Taught Levitical Sacrifice for Healing (Matt 8:4)
“Follow the commandments” (Mark 10:17-19)
“Obey the Pharisees” (Matt 23:2-3)
Observed feast days (Matt 26:17)
In order to better understand the Scriptures we need to understand the context of the passages we read. Therefore it is important to realize that the events leading up to the cross in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are under the Old Testament.
Christianity love ignoring who scriptures is written to. When Matthew says it is to the lost sheep of Israel, they just ignore that and steal it for themselves. All they do is argue with scripture when it is black and white saying who it is written too. You will not find the body of Christ in Matthew, Mark, Luke, Peter and John. Jesus never said I speak to you body of Christ. Jesus only said I speak to the lost sheep of Israel. Christianity all want to claim what does not belong to them. Like in Peter when he says to all men in Judea are you in Judea? You better buy a plane ticket to Judea since you think that is addressed to you.
ReplyDeleteSince you think, Matthew is address to you better go to Judea and flee to the mountains when you are left behind at Jacob's trouble. What part of mystery does not everyone understand. The body of Christ did not exist in Matthew, Mark, Luke, Peter and John.
2 Timothy 2:15-16 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
1 Thessalonians 4:11 (KJV) And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
Romans 15:4 (KJV) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
2 Timothy 3:7-9 (KJV) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
Titus 1:16 (KJV) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Today, in the dispensation of grace, God is not holding our sins against us. A person sends themselves to eternal hell not because of the wrong things he does, but because of his unbelief in what Christ has done for him on the cross, and His resurrection. “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, NOT IMPUTING their TRESPASSES unto them” (2 Cor. 5:19).
ReplyDeleteGod began a new dispensation when He saved Paul. Now, law is not in effect, but grace “. . . ye are not under the law, but under grace” (Rom. 6:14).
Paul explained that Israel is NOT the preferred nation today, but should be treated as any other nation (and be saved by the same gospel). The middle wall of partition between the circumcised (Israel) and the uncircumcision (the Gentiles) is broken down “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath BROKEN DOWN the MIDDLE WALL OF PARTITION between us” (Eph. 2:14). Israel is considered to be just like any other nation today.
Jesus Christ has created a new organism of both Jews and Gentiles. Today there is no difference between individual Jews (not the nation) and Gentiles. “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for TO MAKE IN HIMSELF OF TWAIN [individual Jews and Gentiles] ONE NEW MAN [the body of Christ with Jesus as the Head], so making peace” (Eph. 2:15).
Today we are all one body of believers in Christ. “There is NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28).
In the beginning of his ministry, Paul went to the Jew first, until the diminishing of Israel was complete in Acts 28. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the JEW FIRST, and also to the Greek” (Rom. 1:16).
Acts is a Book of Transition
The book of Acts demonstrates why God is justified in setting aside the nation of Israel. First, they rejected Peter’s message, and then they rejected Paul’s message. Although the nation of Israel did not believe, Peter and the remnant did. The transition goes from God's man Peter to Paul. For a while, Paul had sign gifts to show the Jews that God was now working through him. “For the JEWS REQUIRE a SIGN, and the Greeks seek after wisdom” (1 Cor. 1:22).
During Acts, a transition is made from Peter (and the believing remnant of Israel, the “little flock” mentioned in Luke 12:32) to Paul (and the body of Christ). The sign gifts were temporarily given to Paul and the body of Christ to show Israel that God was now operating through Paul and his ministry. The Corinthian church shared a wall with a Jewish synagogue (Acts 18:7). After three strikes the Jews were out (Acts 13:46, 18:6, 28:28). The provoking ministry (Rom. 11:11) to the Jews and sign gifts ended in Acts 28 with the complete revelation of the mystery to Paul. “But when that which is PERFECT IS COME [the complete revelation to Paul], then that which is IN PART [temporary sign gifts] shall be done away” (1 Cor. 13:10). The sign gifts also supported the Church in its infancy (1 Cor. 13:11, 12).
God postponed Peter’s message. Paul’s message had been “to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Rom. 1:16), but now he decides to stop going to the Jew first. Now Paul brings the message of how God solved the sin problem with His powerful loving sacrifice to the Gentiles.
During this dispensation of the grace of God, only those who believe the gospel of Christ (1 Cor. 15:1-4) become members of the body of Christ.
🔶 PAUL NEVER CALLED THE "BODY OF CHRIST" SHEEP!
ReplyDeleteIn the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), to understand who is the "sheep" and who is the "lost sheep," we have to first understand the background of Israel!
Myth is, that Israel is ONLY the Jewish people!
NO! That is not true! Judah is just one of the Twelve Tribes!
The House of Israel is the Northern Kingdom, composed of the 10 Tribes of Israel!
The House of Judah is the Southern Kingdom composed of 2 Tribes!
After King Solomon, the Nation of Israel was divided into two kingdoms!
The 10 Tribes in the north were called the "HOUSE OF ISRAEL," the Northern Kingdom!
The 2 Tribes in the south were called the "HOUSE OF JUDAH," the Southern Kingdom (Judah and Benjamin)!
The northern 10 Tribes, the House of Israel/the Northern Kingdom went into captivity by the Assyrians in 722 B.C.
The southern 2 Tribes, the House of Judah, Benjamin/the Southern Kingdom went into captivity by the Babylonians for 70 years in 586 B.C.
In Deuteronomy 30:1-5 KJB, God will bring them back!
Israel has "TWO FLOCKS!"
1. House of Judah, Benjamin (2 Southern Kingdoms)
2. House of Israel (10 Northern Kingdoms)
Gentiles were NOT SHEEP! Gentiles were considered DOGS! (even in Jesus' earthly ministry). (read Matthew 15:22-26 KJB)
📖 But He (Jesus) answered and said, It is not "meet" (time) to take the "children's bread" (Israel's), and to cast it to "DOGS."
(Gentiles) (read Matthew 15:26 KJB)
🔶 ISRAEL IS THE "SCATTERED SHEEP!"
📖 My people hath been "lost sheep." (read Jeremiah 50:6 KJB)
📖 Israel is like "scattered sheep." (read Jeremiah 50:17 KJB)
📖 As the sheep......all of you Jacob, (read Micah 2:12 KJB)
📖 As a shepherd seek out his flock......among his sheep that are scattered, so will I seed out my sheep......I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers......I will feed them in a good pasture. (read Psalms 23 KJB) (read Ezekiel 34: 12-13 KJB)
🔹 ISRAEL is the ONLY people called in the Bible as "SHEEP!" There is NO other group in the King James Bible called "sheep!"
Q. WHERE ARE THE SCATTERED SHEEP?
A. AMONG THE GENTILES!
📖 For lo, I will command, and I will sift the "House of Israel" among all nations, (Northern Kingdom) (read Amos 9:9 KJB)
📖 Therefore say, Thus saith the LORD God,; Although I have cast (scattered) them "far off" among the "heathen" (Gentiles), and although I have "scattered" them among the countries, (read Ezekiel 11:16 KJB)
📖 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the "heathen," (Gentiles) (read Psalms 106:47 KJB)
📖 Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. (read Hosea 8:8 KJB)
🔹 Even from Jesus' time until now, there are only two tribes (the 2 southern kingdoms) in the land of Israel! The northern 10 tribes didn't RETURN due to 'the Great Commission' not being for-filled. Those are the 'scattered sheep' for who Jesus came and told I have other sheep of a different flock!
📖 And this spake he (Caiaphas) not of himself: but being high priest that year, he (Caiaphas) prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; (Judah, Benjamin/Southern Tribes) And NOT for that nation ONLY, but (plus) that also He should GATHER TOGETHER in one (fold), the "Children of God" that were SCATTERED ABROAD. (10 Northern Tribes) (read John 11:51-52 KJB)
📖 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will He go, that we shall not find Him? will He go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, (read John 7:35 KJB)
📖 To Him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear His voice: and He calleth HIS OWN SHEEP (Judah, Benjamin) by name, and leadeth them out. And when He putteth forth HIS OWN SHEEP (Judah, Benjamin), He goeth before them, and the sheep follow Him: (known as the "Little Flock", read Luke 12:32 kjb) for they know His voice. (read John 10:3-4 KJB)
Delete📖 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. (read John 10:7 KJB)
📖 I am the Good Shepherd, and know MY SHEEP, and am KNOWN OF MINE. (the Two Southern Tribes, Judah, and Benjamin) (read John 10:14 KJB)
📖 Afterward shall the "children of Israel" (the 10 Northern Tribes) return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; an shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the "latter days."
(YET TO HAPPEN) (read Hosea 3:5 KJB)
🔶 PURPOSE OF JESUS' EARTHLY MINISTRY -
📖 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD God; I will take the "children of Israel"
(the scattered 10 Northern Tribes) from among the "heathen" (Gentiles), whither they be gone (among the gentiles), and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation (one fold) in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: "and they shall be no more two nations", neither shall "they be divided into two kingdoms" any more at all; And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have "One Shepherd" (Jesus Christ): (speaking of the Millennial Kingdom here on earth, which will take place after Jesus' Second Coming) (read Ezekiel 37:21-22, 24 KJB)
🔹 The Books (epistles) of Hebrews, Peter, James, John, Jude, and Revelation were not written to the Gentiles (the Church the Body of Christ). They were written to the scattered Twelve Tribes of Israel, who will be GATHERED TOGETHER during the Tribulation Period according to the prophecies and the promises made by "the Lord," in order to fulfill "The Great Commission" that was postponed due to the nation Israel rejecting Jesus Christ as their Messiah, Shepherd and King!
CONCLUSION......
🔶 ISRAEL IS THE SHEEP!
Delete10 Northern Tribes (the House of Israel) is the "Lost Sheep!"
Jesus came to regather the LOST SHEEP to rejoin together with the TWO FLOCKS OF SHEEP!
House of Judah, Benjamin, and the “House of Israel!"
Not the Gentiles, for Gentiles were considered DOGS (read Matthew 15:26 KJB), and aliens from the commonwealth of Israel without God. (read Ephesians 2:11-12 KJB)
ALL THESE ARE WITHIN GOD'S PROPHETIC PROGRAM WHICH DEALS WITH THE NATION OF ISRAEL, NOT TO US THE CHURCH THE BODY OF CHRIST!
NOTHING TO DO WITH "THE MYSTERY PROGRAM" JESUS CHRIST REVEALED TO OUR APOSTLE PAUL!
IN GOD'S "BUT NOW" MYSTERY PROGRAM TODAY, DURING THE DISPENSATION OF THE "GRACE OF GOD," WE ARE THE CHURCH THE "BODY OF CHRIST," A ONE NEW MAN, A NEW CREATURE (CREATION) IN CHRIST (NOT BORN AGAIN), AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, RECONCILED TO GOD!,(read 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 KJB)
We the Church the Body of Christ, are NOT SHEEP, NOR DOGS!
Don't be CONFUSED and MIX both "PROPHECY" (Israel) and "MYSTERY" (Body of Christ) programs TOGETHER that God deals with separately!
NOW IS THE TIME TO LEARN HOW TO RIGHTLY DIVIDE "THE WORD OF TRUTH," THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION (read Ephesians 1:13 KJB) AS APOSTLE PAUL INSTRUCTED THE 'BODY OF CHRIST' TO DO SO IN 2 Timothy 2:15 KJB!
THE QUESTION IS, DURING TODAY'S DISPENSATION OF THE "GRACE OF GOD," WHAT IS "THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION?"
Is it......
1) John 3:16 KJB: (Kingdom) "Believe on Him" in "WHO" Jesus was as Israel's Messiah, King, Shepherd during His earthly ministry?
or......
2) Acts 2:38 KJB: (Kingdom) Repent (change of mind), get water baptized for the "remission of sins" (temporary atonement until Christ's Second Coming), and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (not "the Gift of instant salvation, read Ephesians 2:8 KJB) as their Comforter (read Joel 2:28, John 16:13 KJB)?
or......
3) 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJB: (Paul's Gospel) "BELIEVE AND TRUST" in "WHAT" Jesus "DID" (His death, burial, and resurrection) in His Finished Crosswork for the "forgiveness of all sins" (read Colossians 2:13 KJB), for all men to be "saved" (read 1 Timothy 2:4 KJB) by Grace through Faith (read Ephesians 2:8 KJB). Heard, believed, and trusted in "the Gospel of Christ" (read Romans 1:16 KJB), the preaching of the Cross (read 1 Corinthians 1:18 KJB), which is "the power of God", the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation (read Ephesians 1:13 KJB) during today's dispensation of the "Grace of God. " (read Ephesians 3:1-9 KJB)
I SURE HOPE AND PRAY FOR YOUR SAKE THAT YOU PICK #3 FOR YOUR SALVATION TODAY, AND BE BLESSED WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS! AMEN!
RIGHTLY DIVIDING "THE WORD OF TRUTH," THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION!
📖 Study (God's Word) to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING "the word of truth" (read 2 Timothy 2:15 KJB)
(The Gospel of your salvation, read Ephesians 1:13 KJB)
WE ARE NOT "SHEEP"!
ReplyDeleteWE ARE NOT ISRAEL, WHO NEEDS TO BE "BORN AGAIN"! (This is written about Jewish Israel before the cross).
WE ARE NOT "SAVED" TODAY BY BELIEVING JOHN 3:16 FOR OUR SALVATION! (Also before the cross).
WE ARE NOT "SAVED" TODAY BY REPENTING, GETTING WATER BAPTIZED FOR THE "REMISSION OF SINS" IN ACTS 2:38 IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE INDWELLING OF THE "HOLY SPIRIT"! (Pentecost was a 50 day JEWISH Feast. Not the start of the Body of Christ).
DURING TODAY'S DISPENSATION OF THE "GRACE OF GOD", MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH THE "BODY OF CHRIST" ARE A "NEW" (NOT "BORN AGAIN") CREATURE IN CHRIST, AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, RECONCILED TO GOD.
DURING TODAY'S DISPENSATION OF THE "GRACE OF GOD", WE ARE "SAVED" SIMPLY BY BELIEVING PAUL'S GOSPEL FOR OUR SALVATION. (I Corinthians 15:1-4)
WHICH PAUL CALLS,
"THE SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST"! (II Cor.11:3)
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST : THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION
📖 I Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJB)
1. Moreover, brethren, I (Paul) DECLARE unto you"The Gospel" which I PREACHED unto you, which also ye have RECEIVED, and whereby ye stand;
2. By which also YE ARE SAVED, if you keep in memory what I PREACHED unto you, unless ye have BELIEVED IN VAIN.
3. For I DELIVERED unto first of all that which I also RECEIVED, how that Christ DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the Scriptures.
4. And that He was BURIED, and that He ROSE AGAIN according to the Scriptures:
SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH + NOTHING
📖 Ephesians 2:8 (KJB)
8. For by (God's) "Grace" (God's unmerited Favor, the Goodness of God) ARE YE SAVED through "Faith" (The Faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God, Gal.2:16, Phil.3:9); and that 👉 NOT OF YOURSELVES (self performance): "it" (salvation) is "The Gift of God" (Rom.6:23):
9. NOT OF WORKS (works of the flesh, law, religion), lest any man should boast.
HEARD, BELIEVED, TRUSTED,
SEALED WITH THAT HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE
📖 Ephesians 1:13 (KJB)
13. In Whom (Christ) ye also TRUSTED, after that ye HEARD "The Word of Truth", the gospel of your salvation: in Whom (Christ) also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that Holy Spirit of Promise,
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST : THE POWER OF GOD
📖 Romans 1:16 (KJB)
16. For I am not ashamed of "The Gospel of Christ" (I Cor.1:18, I Cor.15:1-4): for "it" (The Gospel of Christ) is "The Power of God" unto "salvation" to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
PREACHING OF THE CROSS
📖 I Corinthians 1:17,18 (KJB)
17. For Christ sent me (Paul) not to (water) baptize, but to Preach "The Gospel" (The Gospel of Christ, I Cor.15:1-4): not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18. For the "Preaching of the Cross" (The Gospel of Christ) is to them that perish "FOOLISHNESS"; but unto us which ARE SAVED "it" (The Gospel of Christ, Rom.1:16, I Cor.15:1-4) is "The Power of God".

2. For I (Paul) determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified.
NOW CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SHOW ME AGAIN WHERE I AM TO FIND THESE SCRIPTURES ABOVE THAT ARE PENNED BY OUR APOSTLE PAUL FOR MY SALVATION TODAY, IN THE FOUR GOSPELS OF MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN THAT WAS WRITTEN FOR "THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL".
GO AHEAD, I'LL WAIT! 🥱
AH, THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT! 😉
For those who have ears to hear, let them hear,
All Glory be to God Almighty, in Christ Jesus. Amen and Amen.
WHAT ABOUT JOHN 3:16?
ReplyDelete👉The passage at hand, John 3.16, was spoken by Jesus to Nicodemus, a Jew. During Jesus’ earthly ministry He proclaimed the “gospel of the kingdom.” For one to be saved under this gospel required believing who He was, the Messiah, the Son of God and water baptism. Therefore, interpretively, in context, John 3.16 is not a Christian verse.
👉It is a Jewish verse since Jesus in His earthly ministry came to proclaim salvation to Jews, not Gentiles (Matthew 10.5-6, 15.21-24).
The other thing to notice about John 3.16 is that it says nothing about Jesus’ death or resurrection. Interpretively, in context, Jesus’ statement that “God gave His Son” did not mean He gave Him to die but to be Israel’s Savior. This is what Jesus’ words meant to Nicodemus. Only later would it be understood that Jesus came to die and rise from the dead for our salvation.
👉Applicationally, if one reads Paul’s gospel into the message, John 3.16 can have a legitimate Christian use. If the Lord’s words, “whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” is presented to mean whoever believes Paul’s gospel, that Christ died for his sins and arose from the dead, has eternal life, then the passage can have a Christian sense. But it must be understood that this was not what Jesus meant when He spoke with Nicodemus.
👉All Scripture is beneficial for us (Romans 15.4; 1 Corinthians 10.11) but all Scripture is not to us. For clear communication, especially in proclaiming the gospel, we need to keep the message as simple as possible. We should use passages that clearly define how we are saved. These are found in Paul’s writings (1 Corinthians 15.1-4; Romans 3.21-30, 4.1-5, etc.).
✞ Acts 2: To the Pentecostal, the Baptist, & the Church of Christ:
ReplyDelete(Acts 2 is Peter preaching to a Jewish church under the law.) Pentecost was a 50 day JEWISH Feast. Nothing new started here. Peter was speaking to Jewish people under the law.
The Body of Christ did NOT begin here & is NOT in MMLJ the 4 Gospels also under Mosaic law.
"Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2.38)
Another factor which is commonly ignored is the "JEWISH factor." Every person in Acts 2 is a Mosaic law observing Old Testament Jew. In fact, they are all gathered together to observe a JEWISH FEAST called Pentecost (verse 1).
Saint Paul tell us to be saved we must place our faith in Jesus Christ as laid out in the Gospel of grace.
The gospel of the grace of God is the only thing that will deliver a man from sin, its penalty and power, and from the perils of this present age. The ultimate penalty for sin is God's eternal judgment in the lake of fire.
Please think hard about the next two questions: Do you understand that you are a sinner? Do you believe what this verse is saying; that Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead to give us eternal life?
But what do you say to these two questions?
If your answer is “yes” then we are ready for a third question...
Would you trust Him as your risen Savior right now? Trust that He did all that is needed to pay for your sins—past, present and, future—and believe on Him and Him alone as your Savior? There is nothing you can do, you must give up on everything else and trust His death and resurrection alone as the payment for your sins and your only way to heaven.

No One Was Looking Forward to the Cross
ReplyDeleteBy Justin Johnson
Reading a story backwards would be confusing. The characters would seem to unlearn information as you read from the end to the beginning. The denouement would all but disappear, as the story, read in reverse, unravels instead of coming together.
Read from end to beginning you may think Little Red Riding Hood wanted to be eaten by the wolf, or that Lois Lane always knew that Clark Kent was Superman, but just didn’t like to talk about it.
Just as silly is when people read the Bible from end to beginning, teaching that everyone in the Old Testament was looking forward to the cross.
They think that Abraham believed in Christ when he offered up his Son on the altar, or that those under Moses’ law thought of the future Christ every time they offered an animal sacrifice. But this is reading the Bible backwards, reading the end back into the beginning.
Read properly from beginning to end, it becomes clear that God reveals his will progressively, and that no one was looking forward to the cross for salvation, because it was hid in God until it was time to make it known.
Did They See It?
It is not true that everyone in the Old Testament was looking forward to the cross, because no one knew about it. They cannot look forward to what they did not know.
Job asked, “how should man be just with God?”, not kowing anything about the cross of Christ (Job 9:2).
Moses did not even know God’s name (Exo 3:13).
David knew God had forgiven him, but did not know how, pleading for God’s mercy instead of pleading the cross (Psalm 51:1).
Isaiah, Jeremiah, Malachi, and Daniel all prophesied of the coming Messiah, but none of them understood what the prophecy meant when it spoke of the sufferings of Christ.
“Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.” – 1 Peter 1:10-11
The Missing Cross in Jesus’ Ministry
John the Baptist’s daddy, Zachariah, said Christ had come to deliver the nation “out of the hands of our enemies” and never once mentions the cross (Luke 1:71-74).
When John the Baptist identified Jesus as the Lamb of God, it was after the Lord’s water baptism for the remission of sins, of which Christ had none. What a strange saying if John the Baptist truly meant by his cry, “Here is the man who is going to die!” Instead of good news, that would be terrible news!
DeletePeter took it as bad news when Jesus told him plainly he would die.
The first time Jesus communicates his death it was privately to his disciples in Matthew 16:21. Peter rejects the Lord’s seemingly pessimistic prophecy and tells him he will not die on his watch (Matt 16:22).
Peter was not looking forward to the cross, he was trying to prevent it! If Peter were looking forward to the cross shouldn’t he have rejoiced in the cross like Paull?
“God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” – Gal 6:14
It is clear that Peter nor any of the twelve disciples understood what Christ meant when he spoke of his death to them in private (Mark 9:32; Luke 18:34).
“But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.” – Luke 9:45
Don’t Read the End Back into the Beginning
If we read the Bible from beginning to end, and not backwards, it becomes clear that no one before the cross was looking forward to the cross. We cannot read back into the Old Testament what had not yet been revealed.
God had secretly purposed to provide salvation for all men at all times through the cross, but the mystery of that cross was kept secret since the world begin. This is exactly what we read in Paul’s epistles to whom the mystery preaching of Christ’s cross was revealed.
“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest…” – Romans 16:25
That they truly needed the cross is evident, and now that the mystery of the gospel has been revealed, we can see God preparing for the cross in types and shadows in the Old Testament, but no one then living understood it nor looked forward to it.
The men of faith in the Old Testament were hoping for salvation from God through his mercy, but they could not see the good news of the cross of Christ. It is only after the revelation of the mystery that we now know what had been hid in God since the world began, and look back to see how God could justify sinners.
OUCH!!!
ReplyDelete⚠️ These false teachers in Denominational churches tend to ignore verses 17 and 18, maybe the modern bible versions have removed or changed the words.
✝️ Mark 16:15-18 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] 👉And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 👈
Anyone who has ever done this has died.
📝 Jesus Christ in MMLJ the 4 Gospels was speaking to JEWISH Israel under the law in the Book of Mark not the Body of Christ. Stop trying to follow instructions in the Gospel of the Kingdom written about Israel before the cross and our apostle Paul was saved & sent to the Gentiles. The 4 Gospels were written to Israel & for our understanding. Romans through Philemon is written instructions concerning the church the Body of Christ. BUT NOW is important in your studies of the KJB. - JT.

Colossians 1:14
IN WHOM WE HAVE redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
If Universalists' understanding of "in whom" references Christ's unconditional forgiveness of everyone's sins in Colossians 1:14, then they are forced to apply the same level of understanding to "in whom" also mentioned in the following verses, to wit:
Ephesians 1:11
IN WHOM also we HAVE OBTAINED an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
☝️ which means the entire world has obtained an inheritance (according to their definition of "in whom").
Colossians 2:11
IN WHOM also ye ARE circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
☝️ which has the entire world circumcised with the circumcision made without hands 🤔 (according to their definition).
Ephesians 3:12
In whom we HAVE boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
I'm stumped (as they should be) as to how one would explain away how the world here by faith, has confidence (boldness and access to his eternal (heavenly) purpose)? (According to their definition of "in whom", of course).
If one chooses to believe something, its meaning has to be proven by remaining consistent from verse to verse throughout Paul's epistles and the Bible itself, as the term "in whom" mentioned here cannot change or be inconsistent from verse to verse, especially to the suit devil inspired doctrines of Universalism.
Universalism: just another devil inspired, unthinking man's religion.
Selah.
"IT'S NOT PAUL'S GOSPEL" (doubters often use the above statement or "there is only one gospel in the bible").
ReplyDeletePaul's "My Gospel" 🔍🗡🎯
If Paul taught the same gospel as those before him, then why did he call it “my gospel” three times?
Paul uses both phrases “the gospel” and “our gospel” in his epistles, but when Paul mentions “my gospel” it shows that he had a unique message.
My Gospel: to Jew and Gentile
Paul’s gospel made no distinction between Jew or Gentile. All are counted in unbelief as sinners, and are judged by God without respect of persons whether given the law or not.
Therefore, Paul says:
“In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” – Romans 2:16
During time past, Jesus’ earthly ministry, and up to his encounter with the Roman, Cornelius, there was a distinction between Jew and Gentile in Peter’s ministry preaching. The Jews had a special spiritual standing with the Lord. Gentiles did not.
My Gospel to Stablish
Paul says “my gospel” is how God stablishes the Romans.
“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began…” – Romans 16:25
To the Corinthians, Paul claims to be the masterbuilder who lays the foundation of the grace of God upon which other men build.
“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.” – 1 Corinthians 3:10
Resurrection According to My Gospel
Resurrection was a part of Jewish prophecy, Jesus foretold his own, and Peter preached the resurrection of Christ before Paul was saved. So how could Paul say this?
“Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:” – 2 Timothy 2:8
The fact of the resurrection was prophesied, and both Paul and the twelve taught it (1 Cor 15:11). However, the resurrection of Christ was preached by Peter as proof of his Messiahship, and assurance of the kingdom come.
Paul preached the resurrection of Christ as the means of salvation and sanctification for all humanity as part of a new creature, the church the Body of Christ.
Unique to Paul
Paul’s gospel message was entirely of Christ, and so Paul stands alone in calling it “the gospel of Christ” and “Christ’s gospel”, but that he also calls it “my gospel” can only be explained by the fact that Christ gave it first to Paul exclusively.
No one else in scripture could claim “my gospel”, nor can we. We learned the gospel from Paul’s writings, and the twelve apostles taught the same gospel as John the Baptist and of which the prophets spoke (Mark 1:4; Mark 1:15; Acts 3:19-21).
Paul repeatedly says that the dispensation of the grace of God was given to him (Eph 3:2; Eph 3:7; Col 1:25; Rom 15:15).
The Lord revealed to Paul a mystery kept secret since the world began (Rom 16:25; Eph 3:3). Paul was the chosen vessel of the Lord, appointed to the office of apostle of the Gentiles (Rom 11:13; 2 Tim 1:11).
A “dispensation of the gospel” was committed unto him (1 Cor 9:17). His gospel was not received by man, nor was it of man, but given to him first by the Lord (Gal 1:1; Gal 1:11). Even Peter had to learn that God had given Paul further information about God’s grace (Gal 2:9).
It was truly his gospel from Christ, and it was his responsibility to preach his gospel wherever he went.
“If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward…to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:” – Ephesian 3:2-9 authorized KJB

ReplyDeleteJESUS CHRIST IS THE "ROCK", NOT PETER!
📖 Matthew 16:13 (KJB)
13. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14. And "they" (disciples) said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the Prophets.
15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17. And Jesus answered and said unto "him" (Peter), Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in Heaven.
18. And I say also unto "thee" (Simon Barjona), That thou art Peter, and upon 👉 this "Rock" (Christ) I will build 👉 My "Church" (Christ's Kingdom Church, the "little flock", Luke 12:32, not Peter's); and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19. And I will give unto "thee" the keys of the "Kingdom of Heaven" (earthly kingdom, millennial kingdom): and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.

Jesus had no message during His earthly ministry for Gentiles. It was against Jewish Law to associate with Gentiles.
ReplyDelete“Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation”
🎚 Acts 10:28 KJB
The Jews called Gentiles “dogs.”
Even Jesus used this reference when speaking to one of only 2 Gentiles during His earthly ministry.
🎚Matthew 15:24 KJB
Therefore, the only place in God’s Word that The Lord Jesus Christ is speaking TO YOU is in the epistles of His appointed apostle TO YOU, Paul.
Read his epistles Romans-Philemon KJB
Satan has done an excellent job deceiving people into thinking that Jesus’ red lettered words in the 4 Gospels are spoken to them, to follower, to obey. This is false information! When you obey God’s commandment of “Rightly Dividing The Word Of Truth” they see this truth.
The Lord Jesus Christ IS speaking TO YOU in the epistles of the apostle He sent TO YOU, named Paul. Remember, ROMANS-PHILEMON are written to you, to follow, to obey. The rest of the Bible is of course important. It is for our learning. But it’s imperative to read it in its context, which is about and to the Jew.
“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:”
🎚Romans 11:13 KJB
This is the way the Word Of God itself provides us with the “key” to it’s own proper understanding and right division. 😊
THE MUSINGS OF AN ACTS 9 DISPENSATIONALIST
ReplyDeleteAlways Look at the Eyes – They’re the Mirror of the Soul
KING CHARLES III
A Greek monk holding to Orthodox beliefs will absolutely not give him the correct information on how his soul is to be saved.
Faith in Christ’s redemptive work at Calvary for his sins + nothing (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) is the only way a person can be reconciled to God and have eternal life.
Just goes to show – life “happens” regardless of one’s wealth, power and status. You can eat all the organic food you want, have servants at your beck and call 24/7 and live a life most can only dream of but regardless of this, you will finally reach the grave, and beyond that, if you have not believed God took upon himself your sins (died in your place and suffered death as a sinner when in fact he was sinless) — that he was a propitiation for your sins — if you cannot bring yourself to believe this simple fact, no matter how bad you are or have been — you will spend eternity separated from God in torment and regret.
Charles III seeking spiritual support at this particular time in his life, and by just taking a closer look at his eyes — one wonders how long this man actually has to live? He doesn’t look well at all — there is pain and sickness in his eyes.
No monk, denominational preacher, neither any rabbi is qualified to preach salvation to anyone today, as they themselves do not know the way of trusting Christ SOLELY according to His redemptive work at Calvary and his resurrection from the dead on the 3rd day, as they have an ingrained and insatiable need to try and work themselves into heaven: they say “do”, while he already did it all.
Trust is handing over the reins fully to Christ and what He accomplished on your behalf, while unbelief is spending a lifetime trying to personally perform in order to get to heaven by doing good works.
Once you trust the gospel, you are forgiven and your sin is no longer IMPUTED to you. This is God’s gift to you upon having faith in Him.
Romans 4:5-7
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Why Should God Accept You?
ReplyDeleteI am about to say something that at first will sound extremely hard, but will end up being very simple.
You can accept God, Jesus Christ as Lord, and the Bible as the word of God and not be saved.
Salvation is not a matter of you accepting Christianity, Christ, God, or the Bible. Salvation is given to those accepted by God. The difference is huge!
Who Must Be Accepted
You accept Christ? So, what does that have to do with your being accepted by Him? You can accept God, but why should He accept you? He is not trying to be accepted by you.
Is Christ standing in your judgment line, along with everything else you consider and evaluate to be worthy, holding his resume, and hoping that he is accepted by you?
Of course not! We are the ones standing in the judgment line of Christ. It is exactly backwards to think we must accept God, when really we need God to accept us!
The difference concerns who is the judge. Are you the judge of all things, or is God?
Our consumer driven culture has painted God as a divine politician campaigning for your vote. Political debates encourage us to decide who we deem worthy of high positions. Not so, with God. Truth is not a democracy.
God cannot be judged. The Lord Jesus Christ is not up for re-election. The Bible is not determined to be the word of God by majority vote.
The Lord is Not Trying to Be Accepted
The Lord is not trying to be accepted by anyone. The Saviour is not asking, “Is my salvation acceptable to you?” The Judge does not turn to the criminal and ask, “Do you accept my judgment?” The Truth does not beg the question, “Do you accept me to be true?”
Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour and there is none else beside him. All men are destined to die, and we need Him to live. We need to be accepted by God. God does not count it a worthy thing to be accepted by you.
Never in the Bible does God beg men to accept him, but there are many times when men beg God to accept them.
They knew that God was the judge of all, and he must find them worthy if they are to receive righteousness, forgiveness, life, and the peace of salvation.
God is not up for re-election, we are. God is not the politician; we are the publicans begging for mercy (Luke 18:13). We have been given this mortal life, and our term will run out.
Are We Acceptable to God?
So, on what basis does God accept us?
If it is on the basis of our righteous behavior, wise choices, or love toward others, who of us could be worthy unless God grades us all on a curve? We may be esteemed among men, but would we be able to hold our own in the sight of God who knows all our secrets? Certainly not.
The Bible condemns all self-righteousness.
“There is none righteous, no, not one:” – Romans 3:10
“…by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:…” – Romans 3:20
“…all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
– Romans 3:23
We must understand that we are totally unacceptable to God. We are all sinners and unworthy to be accepted by a perfectly righteous God. Even if you accept Him. He cannot accept you.
How Can God Accept Us?
Why should God be merciful and gracious to sinners? How can he be merciful to sinners?
The answer is revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ, who shed his blood for our sins, and rose from the dead so that his righteousness could be imputed to all that believe.
When we trust in Christ’s righteous life, death, and resurrection on our behalf, then God accepts us not for our own sake, but for the sake of Jesus Christ who died for us (Rom 5:8).
I am not what the world calls "Christian".
ReplyDeleteI am not of religion.
I am not of the traditions of men.
I am not of denominationalism.
Here is what I am called by my Apostle Paul in the Dispensation of the Grace of God...
I am redeemed
(Galatians 3:13)
I am a new creature
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
I am called to be a saint
(Romans 1:7)
I am accepted in the beloved
(Ephesians 1:6)
I have the forgiveness of sins
(Ephesians 1:7)
I am more than a conqueror
(Romans 8:37)
I am a Ambassador for Christ
(2 Corinthians 5:20)
I am justified freely by his grace
(Romans 3:24)
I am the temple of the living God
(2 Corinthians 6:16)
I am a purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory
(Ephesians 1:14)
ALL GLORY TO GOD, THANK YOU CHRIST JESUS, AMEN
You basically need to be like… “Jesus, I can’t live righteously because I’m a wretched sinner, I trust you and what you did for me on the cross 🩸
ReplyDelete(but of course, you need to believe that wholeheartedly)
And BOOM! 💥
The transformation begins 🤗……..by the Holy Spirit, not us
The gospel in a nutshell ❤️✝️
All good works come with trusting the gospel.
We cannot earn our way to heaven by trying to impress God with our own self righteousness.
God's doing something different today with the body of Christ.
Please study Paul’s letters.
Self righteous people end up in hell for not trusting in the blood of Jesus which is a free gift from God that can’t be earned.
If we follow Jesus in his earthly ministry, then we’d be placing ourselves under the law. There were 613 commandments of which 10 are the moral law. The red letters are Jesus’ words that he was teaching to Israel under the Mosaic law. For example, he healed a leper and told him to go to the Priest and do what the law of Moses commanded. (Matthew 8:1-7)
ReplyDeleteIsrael was to become a kingdom of priests, a holy nation. (Exodus 19:6)
Jesus was water baptized to fulfill all righteousness. Under the Mosaic law, priests were to be washed with water to be cleansed.
(Matthew 3:15, Exodus 30:17-21)
John the Baptist at first forbad him. (Matthew 3:14)
As the great high priest of Israel, Jesus did what the law required.
(Hebrews 4:14-16)
Israel was physically circumcised and physically (water) baptized under the mosaic law.
However, Israel as a Nation rejected the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and fell and are partially blinded. (Romans 11:11; Romans 11:25)
This is why the kingdom was postponed and Jesus is still in heaven.
God chose Israel to inherit and reconcile the earth. This plan for Israel was placed on hold.
Why?
Instead of judgment being poured out, a mystery plan that was hid in God was revealed to Apostle Paul. This mystery is the plan to build the church of Christ, his body, to reconcile the heavens. This is called the fellowship of the mystery. (Ephesians 3:9)
BUT NOW (in this dispensation of grace with Paul as our minister and Apostle) the righteousness of God without the law is manifested.
(Romans 3:21) We are not under the law, but under grace. (Romans 6:14)
We are instructed to follow Paul to follow Christ’s heavenly ministry.
(1 Corinthians 11:1)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law. He became a curse for us.
(Galatians 3:13)
When we believe the gospel that was given to Paul (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), we are spiritually circumcised and spiritually baptized into his body.
(1 Corinthians 12:13; Colossians 2:11)
THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD = 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4.✝️🩸
WE CANNOT CHANGE THIS GOSPEL IN ANY WAY LEST WE BE ACCURSED! (Romans 2:16; Galatians 1:12; Galatians 1:8-9)
There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. This is a spiritual baptism. We receive only spiritual promises not physical promises:
1) Spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3)
2) Seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6-9)
3) Conversation is in heaven (Philippians 3:20-21)
After the Body of Christ is raptured to heaven, God will focus back on Israel and complete his prophecies and promises to them. This is Daniel’s 70th week (baptism by fire) and then the physical kingdom on earth (millennium kingdom) that was promised to his chosen people, Israel, will begin.
In the dispensation of the fullness of times Christ will gather those in heaven and earth together. (Ephesians 1:10) There will be a new heaven and a new earth. (Revelation 21:1)
My prayer for you ✝️🙏
Ephesians 1:17
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
Grace and Peace 🙏
CONFESSING WITH OUR MOUTH IS A WORK:
ReplyDeleteSALVATION IS WITHOUT ANY OF OUR WORKS
Confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord isn't required for salvation, today, in this present dispensation of grace, according to our God-appointed apostle, Paul. Rom. 1:16; 1Cor. 15:1-4; Eph. 1:13; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 4:5; Gal. 2:16 KJV.
In fact, today, adding ANY kind of "works" prevents salvation for the unsaved. Rom. 4:4,14 KJV.
Israel, in Time Past, had to confess with their mouth who Jesus was because they, as a nation, rejected him, and crucified him.
Romans chapter 10 is about ISRAEL'S salvation, not ours. See V. 1.
But Now, today, in the dispensation of grace, we aren't required to confess with our mouths (a work).
We are only to TRUST who Jesus Christ is (God the Son), and BELIEVE that he died for our sins, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day (Rom. 1:16; 1Cor. 15:1-4; Eph. 1:12-13 KJV).
Paul writes ...
Romans 4:4 (KJV) Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

WHAT IS THE REAL MEANING OF REVELATION 3:20?
ReplyDelete“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).
👉 As always, we look at the CONTEXT so that we can understand a verse, lest we make the verse say something that it does NOT say.
👉 Revelation 3:20 has a context, and that verse is written to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans, Jewish believers who will endure the future seven-year Tribulation (verse 14). These Laodiceans are “lukewarm,” “neither cold nor hot” (verse 15,16): they are materialistic and their works displease God (verses 17,18). They are “straddling the fence,” so to speak; therefore, the Lord through the Apostle John admonishes these them, “be zealous therefore, and repent [change your thinking!]” (verse 19).
👉 In the context of Revelation 3:20, Jesus Christ’s Second Coming is near, and God is warning these believing Jews to “get their act together” so they can be ready to accept their Messiah-King, and so their deeds and hearts (attitudes) are acceptable to Him (Matthew 23:42-51; Luke 19:12-27; Revelation 22:11-12; et cetera).
👉 This refers to believing Jews entering their earthly kingdom (which Christ will establish at His Second Coming). How plain! Revelation 3:20 belongs to Israel, not us.
👉 So, Revelation 3:20 has nothing to do with salvation from sins and hell. It has nothing to do with “Jesus knocking at the door of a lost person’s heart” or “asking Jesus into your heart.” Contrariwise, it actually entails judgment!
👉 Dispensational Bible study helps us understand Revelation 3:20 is not even talking to or about us anyway. First, John is its author (Revelation 1:4). John is not writing to us in the Dispensation of Grace; he is an apostle of Israel, writing to Jews in their kingdom program (Galatians 2:9). We need to leave Revelation 3:20 where it is in the Bible, and not rip it out of its context so that it promotes denominational doctrine.
Universalists believe all people, saved and lost all have the Forgiveness of sins.
ReplyDeleteTrue King James Bible Believing Dispensationalists that understand, and daily practice rightly dividing the Word of Truth understand and know this is not the case.
The Universalists fire back and refer to us as "limited forgivers". The only thing limited is their view and understanding on this matter.
Payment is not Forgiveness. The Payment is on the Cross(the death), however there is still the other two important parts to all that Christ did for us. His burial and His Resurrection. Our sins were buried when He was buried. His resurrection is our Justification.
"At the Cross" just doesn't work. Not only is it not in the Bible, "At the Cross" claims everything took place on the Cross and takes ones attention off the burial and the resurrection of Christ.
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 1 Corinthians 15:17 KJB proves that if there is no resurrection, then we are in our sins, of the which means we would be not forgiven.
Also Acts 26:18 KJB reads "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.", and thus Christ told Paul "that they may receive forgiveness of sins". "May" is not the same as the Universalists teach with "At the Cross".
The truth is Christ died for all. He paid the sin debt for all. That doesn't mean all are forgiven. All can be forgiven, all we need to do is simply believe the only Gospel that saves today. The Gospel of Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJB
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
WE DON'T FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST AFTER THE FLESH
ReplyDelete👉We do not know Jesus Christ after the flesh any longer. We do not know any person after the flesh any longer. Christ’s earthly ministry, based on the middle wall of partition, is not how people should relate to God or each other today.
👉From the time the Dispensation of Grace began with Paul’s salvation and ministry, Almighty God has revealed to us (mankind) how to no longer know or relate to people according to their fleshly identity. Unlike “time past,” physical circumcision and physical uncircumcision are not the issue today in the “but now.” Rather, we understand people to be either in Christ (saved, going to Heaven) or in Adam (lost, going to Hell).
👉The Bible says, in this Dispensation of Grace, there is no difference between Jew and Gentile. This was not true during Christ’s earthly ministry. Today, however, there is no spiritual advantage to being a Jew and there is no spiritual disadvantage to being a Gentile.
👉Unless we recognize the radical dispensational change that occurred in the Book of Acts (particularly, with Paul’s conversion and commission in chapter 9), we will not understand that God is dealing differently with man today in the “but now” than how He dealt with him in “time past.” We will major on issues that God no longer emphasizes; we will ignore the issues that God currently upholds. Absolute confusion and disappointment are sure to result!
👉It is therefore dangerous for people to continue with their mindless chant, “I follow Jesus, I do not follow Paul.” To “follow Jesus”—specifically, they mean the Four Gospel Records (Matthew through John)—means to know Him today in a manner in which God says we do not know Him today.
👉The middle wall of partition that was up during the Four Gospel Records has since been done away. God has temporarily suspended that distinction between Jew and Gentile. He has changed the dispensations, the instructions given to man.
👉Conditions that were true in Matthew through John are not necessarily true today, so it is more appropriate that we follow the Apostle Paul as he follows Jesus Christ rather than we “following Jesus.” We are not exalting Paul; we are exalting the Jesus Christ whom Paul preached, the Jesus Christ as presented in the mystery truth committed to Paul’s trust.
HOW ARE JEWS SAVED TODAY
ReplyDelete👉Jews today do not belong to that special nation that God called out in Exodus 19:5-6, which is currently 'Loammi'. There is no kingdom of priests and a holy nation today. Jews are on the same level as Gentiles today. As Paul says, there is not Jew or Gentile, ... Gal 3:28-29.
👉Today, Jews can only be saved by believing in the cross work of Christ and trusting in that perfect work that Jesus did. They are added to the Body of Christ just like all Gentiles that get saved today. If Jews do not receive the grace gospel today and continue to believe in their Orthodox ways, they will be eternally lost if they die, or if they live into the Tribulation, they will have opportunity to get saved in that time by the preaching of the 144000 or the 2-Witnesses.
👉What happens AFTER this Grace program? It is only after the rapture of the Body of Christ that things change back to the Kingdom program again and ushers in the prophetic program and the Tribulation.
👉The Grace gospel ends, and the Kingdom gospel is reactivated and preached again. This is when both Jews (and proselyting Gentiles) will be saved again by means of the identity of Christ, confessing Him as their Lord and the Son of God. This will continue until the second half of the Tribulation when a new gospel is preached by angels from heaven, Rev 14:6-7.
👉It is in the Millennial Kingdom (after the 7-year Tribulation) when Israel will again be preeminent above all nations, the special people of God and the kingdom of priests.
👉It’s a long reply, but I trust this gives you the insights you need about how Jews are saved today and into which program they are added.

APOSTASY vs. CHURCH REVIVAL
ReplyDeleteWe hear Christendom's cry for "revival," and the Charismatic's cry for a return to Pentecost. But, their cries are in vain; they're absolutely worthless!
Most of modern Christianity is clueless about what God is DOING TODAY.
And, the Charismatics are in utter darkness when it comes to knowing the will of God for us TODAY.
Each and every believer IN Christ has the same opportunity to KNOW exactly what God is doing and what his will is for us TODAY, so they are without excuse!
To KNOW these things is a simple matter of:
#1 - making sure you are SAVED by believing Paul's gospel of Christ (1Cor 15:1-4) without works (Eph 2:8-9 KJV), and then
#2 - reading, studying, and believing what God's messenger today, PAUL, has written "to us" from God, which is found in Romans through Philemon KJV. Rom 16:25-26; Eph 3:1-10; Col 1:23-26 KJV.
This present dispensation of grace will NOT end with church revival.
And, NO, IT ISN'T GOD'S WILL THAT WE GO BACK TO PENTECOST!!!
Pentecost had NOTHING what-so-ever to do with us, the Body of Christ! Pentecost was ONLY about his dealings with ISRAEL and God fulfilling PROPHECY.

🔥 SPIRITUAL ISRAEL? 🤔❌❌
ReplyDeleteThe “spiritual Israel” plague is real. As a massive dark cloud, it lingers over the belief system of many Bible believers today who have been misled by doctrines of confusion.
“We are grafted into Israel … we are Jews … the church is grafted into the 12 tribes … we are part of the New Covenant kingdom of Israel.”
Amazingly, this is actually what many have been influenced into believing, despite the fact that the scriptures tell us plainly that God’s covenants were made with the house of Israel and the house of Judah (Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 8:10).
Note: We are not the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and < THE REST WERE BLINDED > … I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather < THROUGH THEIR FALL > salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.“ — Romans 11:7,11
During this present dispensation of grace (Eph 3:1-9), Israel is < BLIND AND FALLEN >. We are not blind to the gospel, nor are we fallen. How then could anyone possibly conclude that we are grafted into the 12 tribes of Israel?
We are members of the church the body of Christ (Romans 12:5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13,27), an entirely separate entity that’s set apart from Israel and her covenants with God.
The body of Christ has no covenants with God. A covenant is a promise of something to come in the future. Salvation for the nation of Israel remains yet in the future.
“And so all Israel shall be saved … For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.“ — Romans 11:26-27
According to Israel’s covenant, their salvation and forgiveness of sins is a < FUTURE PROMISE >.
If we today were “spiritual Israel,” then whose blindness is God going to remove in the future? Whose sins is God going to take away in the future? Certainly not ours - those have already been forgiven.
As members of the church the body of Christ, our salvation and forgiveness of sins (Eph 1:7, Eph 4:32) has already been received as a < PRESENT POSSESSION >.
According to the apostle Paul’s grace message for the B.O.C., we have already been “blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3) - God has already saved us according to his own purpose and grace (2 Timothy 1:8-9, Titus 3:4-5).
For the elect of Israel, their regeneration will occur when the Lord returns to sit upon his throne of glory (Matthew 19:28) — FUTURE PROMISE.
For the church the body of Christ, our regeneration has already occurred (Titus 3:4-5) — PRESENT POSSESSION.
For the elect of Israel, grace will be “brought unto them at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:13) — FUTURE PROMISE.
As members of the church the body of Christ, we currently “have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand” (Romans 5:2) — PRESENT POSSESSION.
Israel 👉 Blind and fallen
B.O.C. 👉 Not blind and fallen
Israel 👉 Has covenants with God
B.O.C. 👉 No covenants with God
Israel 👉 Sins will be “blotted out” in the future
B.O.C. 👉 Sins have been forgiven
Israel 👉 Salvation a future promise
B.O.C. 👉 Salvation a present possession
Israel 👉 Regeneration is future
B.O.C. 👉 Regeneration has already occurred
Israel 👉 Will receive future grace
B.O.C. 👉 Already saved by grace
⏰Saul of Tarsus was a religious zealot: he was a religious leader of Israel, a wealthy Pharisee (Jesus had condemned Pharisees as self-righteous and greedy.)
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ and His Jewish believers were a threat to Saul’s religion; thus, Saul mercilessly hunted down and dragged these Messianic Jews to prison.
In Acts chapter 7, through the prophet Stephen, the Holy Spirit pleaded with Israel’s leadership to accept Jesus as their Messiah.
Badly, unbelieving Israel stoned Stephen to death—Saul witnessed it with pleasure! (Saul was highly influential in Israel’s fall before God.)
God’s wrath on wicked Saul of Tarsus, the whole world, and especially Israel, was fast approaching.
Just before that wrath fell, God’s grace and peace interrupted it.
In Acts chapter 9, once Saul thought he had arrested every Jew in Jerusalem who had believed Jesus was Messiah, he headed north to Damascus to arrest Messianic Jews there.
Before he reached Damascus, he personally met the risen, ascended, and glorified Lord Jesus Christ and was never the same again!
He trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour, and he quit his folly in religion.
For the next 35 years, he preached the grace of Jesus Christ, the Person he had so strongly opposed.
Once he made the transition from the traditions of men to the message of God’s grace to us in Christ, Paul lost his fame and fortune (sounds familiar, huh?).
His salary as a denominational leader dwindled, his “friends” scattered, and he was branded a “heretic” (sounds familiar, huh?).
SO WHAT!
In his own words, that was all “but dung” (Philippians 3:7,8 )—he “won Christ,” and never looked back…
MAY WE FOLLOW PAUL’S ENSAMPLE.

THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST (NOT PETER)
ReplyDeleteThe Roman Catholic church and the Church that Christ describes in Matthew chapter 16 CANNOT BE THE SAME CHURCH. Even St Augustine didn't believe this, nor did he believe Peter was the head of the whole Church. *St Augustine said, "Christ, you see, built his Church NOT ON A MAN, but on Peter’s CONFESSION.”
What is Peter’s confession? Matthew 16:16 KJV: “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
The fact of THIS CONFESSION is what Jesus was saying that the Church would be built upon—NOT PETER HIMSELF. Peter was there as an official WITNESS to the RECORD giving TESTIMONY OF WHO JESUS CHRIST IS. Christ Jesus Himself proclaimed Himself as the Rock and foundation of the real Church, which “the gates of hell shall not prevail against.”
In addition, God’s true word, the Authorized King James Version of the Holy Bible plainly states:
1Corinthians 10:4 KJV: “…that Rock was Christ.” ~apostle Paul
1Corinthians 3:11 KJV: “For OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” ~apostle Paul
*(John Rotelle, Ed., The Works of Saint Augustine (New Rochelle: New City Press, 1993), Sermons, Vol. 6, Sermon 229P.1, p. 327).
Claiming that Peter was the first Pope is found NOWHERE in the word of God (KJV). Don't believe the traditions of men!

The Rapture Of The Body Of Christ In The Mystery
ReplyDeleteYou won’t find Scripture about the Rapture outside of Paul’s epistles. Paul taught by revelation that the Rapture of The Body of Christ, His Church is a “mystery,” a secret unknown to men in Time Past. From the beginning of the world, the “mystery” was hid in God until revealed to the Apostle Paul.
The Rapture, is the “blessed hope” from the risen, ascended glorified Lord to the members in His Body. It’s The Lord’s final act for the “dispensation of the grace of God.” It is not part of Israel’s prophecy spoken by the Old Testament prophets.
Therefore, the Body of Christ nor the Rapture can be found elsewhere in the Old Testament or New Testament due to their unique character as a new, previously hidden creation of mystery separate and distinct from Israel.

DeleteGod’s Purpose in Satan’s Hindrance
ReplyDelete“Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us” (1 Thes. 2:18).
God has a plan for each of our lives, a plan that is for our good and His glory. We should not forget, however, that Satan has a plan for the believer’s life as well. His designs are for destroying our lives and testimony for Christ through sin, false beliefs, and poor decisions. Paul’s mention of “the wiles of the devil” in Ephesians 6:11 teaches us that Satan has strategies, methods, and schemes to make us fall or run away in the spiritual battle. Satan can’t take away your salvation (Col. 3:3), but he can destroy your testimony. Like a thief, he can also rob you of your joy in Christ and your assurance of salvation.
After establishing the church at Thessalonica, Paul had tried “once and again” to reconnect and visit them, but it had not worked out. The reason, Paul wrote, was that “Satan hindered us.” The Greek word for “hindered” is used of making a road impassable. In the context of athletics, it meant cutting someone off during a race. In a military context, it referred to cutting a trench in front of an advancing army to prevent the enemy’s progress. Satan does the same thing in our Christian lives: he blocks the path, cuts us off in mid-stride to trip us up, or impedes our spiritual progress.
We do not know specifically what Satan did to keep Paul from going back to Thessalonica, but we do know that Paul attributed the obstruction to Satan himself. However, we see now how even Satan’s hindrance was part of God’s providence for Paul’s life. God allowed and used Satan’s opposition and brought good out of this roadblock which Paul perceived as bad. As He did with the Cross, God accomplished His own purposes, using the devil to do so.
The consequence of Paul’s inability to go to Thessalonica was the writing of a letter, a letter that became part of our Bible. This letter, in turn, has resulted in glory to God and, for the past 2000 years, untold multitudes have benefited from Paul’s First Epistle to the Thessalonians and have been blessed by its divine truths — our blessed hope of the Rapture (4:13-18), to name just one. It was because Paul faced a satanic roadblock in his life that we have 1 Thessalonians. We do well to remember this anytime we face a blocked road or barrier in life that we perceive as bad, because God can work to bring something good out of it for His glory and our blessing.
SHOULD WE PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM?
ReplyDeleteSome well-meaning Christians—including a few confused “dispensationalists”—press us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They use the book of Psalms: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” (Psalm 122:6). These sincere brethren claim that if we pray for peace to come to Jerusalem, then that will make Jesus Christ come back to Earth quicker. Is this a sound way of looking at Psalm 122:6? To the Scriptures we go, beloved!
Let me tell you right now, upfront, first and foremost. When I study my Bible as a whole, and not just a verse here and there, I see no reason for you or I to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I cannot make God do something He is not doing. You, friend, cannot make God do something He is not doing. No one on Earth can make God do something He is not doing. Probably for the last 2000 years, Christians have been praying for the peace of Jerusalem, and yet, there is still no peace today in Jerusalem. Far from it! Great civil unrest exists in Jerusalem amongst Jews, Christians, Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians. That ought to tell us that we cannot make God do something He is not doing. If we have been praying for something for decades—yea, centuries—and nothing has happened, the only logical conclusion is that we must be praying outside of God’s will for this dispensation.
Remember, the day is coming when there will be peace in Jerusalem. That is the purpose of the Antichrist, the false Messiah. He will bring a false peace treaty to light in Israel and the Middle East. Daniel 11:21 explains how this Antichrist figure will originate: “And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.” He will be an over-complimentary character, slowly conniving his way into the Middle-Eastern governmental structures. Consider 1 Thessalonians chapter 5: “[1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. [2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” We certainly do not want to pray for the peace of Jerusalem in the Dispensation of Grace. Why? We would be praying for the revelation of the Antichrist! (The Antichrist has to come and usher in false peace before Jesus Christ, “the Prince of Peace,” can come and usher in true peace [Isaiah 9:6-7]).
Actually, Israel has no national status before God today. That startles many people—especially denominationalists—when they hear it, but it is true. Israel has no special relationship with JEHOVAH. She had such a relationship in the past but it is suspended in this the Dispensation of Grace. Paul’s epistles are very clear about that. We would have to ignore the Pauline epistles to conclude that Israel is still the chosen people of God, the nation God calls “My people.” Romans chapter 11 is plain if we are willing to let it say what it says: “[11] I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. [12] Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? [25] For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [28] As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.”
DeletePeople who urge us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they are not rightly dividing the Word of God as 2 Timothy 2:15 instructs. They do not understand prophecy versus mystery. God is not operating Israel’s program today. We cannot rush Him to continue prophecy. He is operating the mystery program. In His own time, Jesus Christ will return. He is not presently coming to establish Israel’s earthly kingdom. This will change one day, but not today, not while God is forming the Church the Body of Christ. God is focused today on impacting the governments of heaven for His glory. God formed the Body of Christ to influence the heavenly places:
Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Ephesians 1:20-23: “[20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, [21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: [22] And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, [23] Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”
Ephesians 2:6-7: “[6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: [7] That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”
Ephesians 3:10: “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,”
Ephesians 4:8-10: “[8] Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. [9] (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? [10] He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)”
Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [heavenly] places.”
Once our Dispensation of Grace ends, and Israel’s prophetic program resumes, Israel’s believing remnant most definitely should pray for the peace of Jerusalem. After all, they are praying for Jesus Christ’s Second Coming and the destruction of the evil Antichrist who will be reigning during the seven-year Tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week). The context of Psalm 122 is Jesus Christ’s literal, physical, visible earthly kingdom. In the so-called “Lord’s Prayer,” we read in Matthew chapter 6: “[9] Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give us this day our daily bread. [12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” During those final seven years, the Tribulation period, Israel’s Little Flock is to pray for deliverance, for Satan’s reign on Earth to end and for God’s reign on Earth to begin. (For more information, at the end of this study, you may see the article we have linked, “Should we pray ‘The Lord’s Prayer?’”)
CONCLUSION
DeleteNever once did our Apostle Paul in his epistles, Romans through Philemon, instruct us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Why? That is not what God the Holy Spirit is doing today! Friend, you need to pray in accordance with God’s will, not misquoting Bible verses and repeating them to God all corrupted and muddled up. That is how religion encourages you to pray. Just name whatever you want and claim it as so, and God will give it to you. No, prayer is always about what God is doing, not about what we want God to do. If you want to see and pray for what God is doing today, see what our Apostle Paul prayed and by faith go pray for that. (For more information, you can see our study linked at the end, “How should I pray? What is ‘Pauline’ prayer?”) Friend, you will save yourself a lot of wasted time and heartache. Prayer is talking to God in light about what He is doing, not about manipulating Him to do whatever we want Him to do.
Certainly, peace will come to Jerusalem one day. There will be a false Messiah (Antichrist) first, followed by the true Messiah (the Lord Jesus Christ). That is God’s purpose and program with Israel. We need not be troubled by it. We need not worry about it. Let us read all of the Bible, Genesis through Revelation, but let us remember that Romans through Philemon are the program and the doctrine that Father God currently has in effect. We are living in the mystery program, certainly not to be confused with the prophetic program of Israel. Let us not be distracted by claiming Israel’s verses and promises and making them part of our prayer life. That is sure to bring about unanswerable confusion and misery.

YOU ARE NOT THE REMNANT
ReplyDeleteA Remnant is something that is leftover - it is a remainder, a surviving trace or vestige. When speaking about fabric, it would be the remaining fabric after the rest has been used or sold.
The same concept is how God describes Israel after the unbelievers have been cut off. A remnant of Israel remains. This is true Israel, this is believing Israel, this is spiritual Israel, but it is
NOT YOU.
If you are a believer in Christ's death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, then, you are a member of the Body of Christ which is a
NEW CREATURE.
You are not a leftover piece of Israel. Israel was an old thing- an old operation that God was performing on the Earth and He will get back to it.
BUT NOW...
God is operating...
WITHOUT ISRAEL
WITHOUT THE COVENANTS
and
WITHOUT THE LAW.
In the NEW CREATURE, The Body of Christ
which is
A BRAND NEW
Operation of God and not something Old or taken from something old.

ReplyDelete“Let Them Be Accursed” - Misinterpreting Gal 1:6-9 🔥
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately there are many today who misinterpret Paul’s warning in Galatians 1:6-9, claiming that it means the 12 apostles would’ve been “accursed” if their gospel message was different compared to Paul’s gospel.
They attempt to use this erroneous interpretation to support the idea that the 12 apostles preached the same gospel that Paul preached — which of course is not a message that’s in alignment with sound doctrine.
The 12 apostles and the little flock church of the circumcision were not “accursed” for preaching their gospel of the circumcision to their audience. Paul’s warning in Galatians 1:6-9 did not apply to the 12 apostles and their preaching to the little flock.
Paul wrote his warning < TO THE GALATIANS > regarding foolish men who had been attempting to corrupt < THE MINDS OF THE GALATIANS > by trying to persuade them to abide in the wrong doctrine.
The agreement made between Paul and the apostles of Israel in Galatians 2:7-9 was that Peter and the apostles of Israel would minister to < THE BELIEVING JEWS ONLY > because Paul was given the gospel of the uncircumcision — the mission of preaching to unbelieving Jews and Gentiles.
Therefore, the 12 understood from that point forward that they would only be ministering to the believing Jews — which means the 12 also understood that they would be violating God’s will if they went preaching their gospel of the circumcision to an audience like the Galatians, who were members of Paul’s audience (the uncircumcision).
This is why Paul wrote to the Galatians that anyone preaching another gospel to them < OTHER THAN HIS GOSPEL > would be accursed.
The main reason why Paul and the 12 came to the agreement that they reached in Galatians 2:7-9 is because there had been disruptive and deceitful men from Judea trying to undermine Paul’s grace message and poison the minds of his Galatian converts by teaching them a salvation message that was contradictory to Paul’s message.
“And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.” — Acts 15:1-2
It was these “certain men which came down from Judaea” to whom Paul was referring in Galatians 3:1-3.
“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?”
Paul insinuated that the Galatians had been conducting themselves in a foolish manner because they had allowed themselves to be misled by the wrong message after Paul had already laid the foundation of their salvation for them.
This is what inspired Paul to inform the Galatians that anyone preaching “another gospel” to them — such as telling them they had to keep the law of Moses and get physically circumcised — any such person teaching them that erroneous message was to be accursed.
The Galatians should’ve known better than to be deceived away from the truth, which is that members of the church the body of Christ are saved by grace through faith without the works of the law, which is Paul’s gospel message — the message of salvation in Christ which God had ordained to go to the Gentile nations.
Transition Periods
ReplyDeleteWe have been taught by our own vain religious system that everything in the Bible pertains to everyone at all times and places in the same way. So, when we read the Gospel of John or about Pentecost in early Acts, we assume that these things are specifically about us today in the Body of Christ. But if we read God’s Word closely, we will see that there are unique situations in Bible history that are not comparable to our situation today in the Dispensation of Grace. This is especially true of those times when God had introduced a transition either within one program or from one program to another.
In the 1st of the 1st century, God introduced two great divinely originated transitions. Of course, in Mid-Acts Dispensationalism, we readily acknowledge the transition God made when He set aside His Prophetic Program with the Nation of Israel under Peter and the 12 and transitioned to His Mystery Program with the Body of Christ under the Apostle Paul.
But there was another divine transition that is important to appreciate as well. That is when God transitioned believing Israel from the time before Christ’s earthly ministry to the time after His earthly ministry. Let’s use our imaginations a little. There were many Jews at the beginning of the 1st century who had lived their lives before God sent His Son and without any knowledge of Jesus. Then God sent His Son and transitioned them to living in the time after Jesus had come on the scene in His earthly ministry.
These people are IN-BETWEEN-PEOPLE, people who lived during a divinely originated transition. Of course, unbelieving Israel didn’t believe in God, the Scriptures or Moses, so (in accord with Jn. 5:37-47) wouldn’t believe in Jesus Christ either. But what about believing Jews who made up the Believing Remnant of Israel? God had promised to always preserve a believing remnant within the mostly apostate Israel (Is. 1:9), and we see them in people like Joseph and Mary, Zacharias and Elizabeth, Simeon and Anna, John the Baptist and his followers, etc. What about them? They had spent their lives believing in God and trusting in His promises to Israel without having any knowledge of Jesus. Even John the Baptist emphasizes twice in three verses that he didn’t know Jesus (Jn. 1:31, 33), which becomes even more startling when we remember that Jesus and John were cousins! He and they were IN-BETWEEN-PEOPLE. They started in one state then God transitioned them to another state.
Were these members of the Believing Remnant of Israel who lived before Jesus and didn’t know Him but who believed in the true God of Israel not really saved? Was John the Baptist unsaved because he didn’t believe in Jesus Christ before Jesus Christ even came on the scene!? Of course, not. How ridiculous! There were many believers in Israel, who, like Abraham, had believed God and God counted their faith for righteousness (Gen. 15:6; Rom. 4:3-5) before Jesus came on the scene in His earthly ministry. In other words, they already had individual salvation and forgiveness of personal sins. They were justified before God and His Tribunal unto eternal life and eternally secure.
Then, Jesus Christ came, was revealed and made known to them. Now their before-Christ’s-arrival-state transitioned to an after-Christ-arrived-state. And that brings us to the second part of our Webster’s definition about a transition. It usually occurs over a period of time. The Believing Remnant of Israel was made up of humans! People who were finite, dull, and slow to understand, you know people like me and people like you. It took some time for the implications of all that this transition meant to be understood, thereby creating a transition period. In short, God had advanced His Prophetic Program with them, and they needed to catch up.
At that time, God the Father was transitioning those who (already) belonged to Him to His Son. He was handing over the Believing Remnant of Israel, those in Israel who already believed in and belonged to God, who already had individual salvation and forgiveness of personal sins, to His Son, who would instruct and preserve them through the Coming Wrath (the Tribulation Period) and lead them into the Kingdom where they would participate in Israel’s national salvation and be separated from their association with Israel’s national debt of sins. Before they honored the Father. Now, they honored the Father by honoring the Son (Jn. 5:23).
DeleteThis transition period extended into early Acts. Where John the Baptist introduced Jesus Christ to believing (devout) Jews living inside the Land of Israel (Lk. 2:25-38), Peter at Pentecost introduced Christ to the believing (devout) Jews living outside Israel, who came from all nations on earth to attend the Feast of Pentecost (Acts 2:5-11). This puts early Acts in a whole new perspective. Now, the goal of Peter’s preaching was not primarily personal evangelism to get Jews who didn’t believe in God to believe in God through Christ for individual salvation and forgiveness of personal sins. Rather his preaching was primarily to inform believing Jews from around the world—that God had advanced His Prophetic Program with Israel by sending His Son, and now they needed to receive and believe in Him to participate in Israel’s national salvation and be separated from Israel’s national debt of sins for entrance into the Kingdom.
This supports the principle we learned in John 5:37-47. Those who don’t believe in God won’t believe in the Son. Therefore, those who do believe in God, and who have already participated in individual salvation, are the ones who will also receive and believe the Son. For the Son just does the works and says the words of the Father. The ones who respond positively are those who already belong to and know the Father and will, therefore, recognize the Father in the Son and receive and believe in the Son for participation in Israel’s national salvation.
In summary, during this transition period, God the Father is handing the Believing Remnant of Israel (and believing Gentiles associated with them) over to the Son for instruction and safekeeping through the Tribulation Period and entrance into the Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace.
These transitions do not apply directly to us today. For the past 2,000 years, God has been working through only one apostle, one program and one people: His Apostle Paul and the Mystery Program with the Body of Christ. Therefore, in accord with Rom. 15:4, we can learn from transition periods, but we have to appreciate that we are not in the same predicament as they were. We have been hearing about Christ for 2,000 years. If we don’t believe and don’t understand, shame on us because there has been more than enough time to be in full step with God and what He is doing today.
Hope this helps,
The “Great Tribulation” and the Second Coming of Christ
ReplyDeleteIn the gospels Jesus Christ is preparing Israel for the kingdom that was promised to them in the Old Testament.
But remember that the Old Testament also taught that before the kingdom, there will be a time of great tribulation in which God will “purge out from among (Israel) the rebels” (Ezekiel 20:38). It is described in Ezekiel 22:21 as a time of the fire of God’s wrath. Also, during this time the antichrist will persecute believers. Jesus Christ told his followers what to do during this time in order to be preserved.
Read Matthew 24:15-21.
Matthew 24:15-21 KJV - When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
1.What does Jesus tell them to do when they see the “abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel”? (This when the antichrist stands in the temple and claims to be God.
See Daniel 9:27 & 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
Flee into the mountains.
God tells them to flee to the wilderness of the mountains because that is where he will preserve them, just as he preserved the children of Israel when they fled from Pharoah (a type of the antichrist), Elijah when he fled from King Ahab, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego when they were thrown into the fiery furnace.
2.What did God do for the Israelites in the wilderness with Moses? (See Exodus 16:4, 12-14 & Deuteronomy 29:5)
He sent bread from heaven, quail, and water from a rock and preserved their clothes and shoes.
3.What did he do for Elijah? (See 1 Kings 17:6) – He sent ravens with food.
God will do the same for the believers during the great tribulation. Remember we saw in Isaiah that God has prepared hiding places for them in the wilderness where he has placed springs of water and where animals will bring them food.
Read Isaiah 26:20; 33:15-16; 41:17-20; 43:19-21.
Revelation 12:14 also tells of this:
“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”
This is why Jesus Christ taught things such as the following:
Matthew 6:31-33 KJV – “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”
(Note: This is different from what God says for today. See 2 Thessalonians 3:10.)
2 Thessalonians 3:10 KJV - "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat."
The Second Coming of Christ
DeleteAfter the tribulation Jesus Christ will return to establish the kingdom.
Matthew 24:29-31, 37-42 KJV - "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. ... But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so, shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
This passage is often mistakenly taught as being Christ taking the church, the body of Christ, to heaven, However, clearly it is not.
Those who are “taken” are not taken to heaven; they are taken to destruction, as in the days of Noah. Jesus makes this clear in Luke 17:37 when the disciples ask him where they are taken. What does he say? What does he mean? (Compare to Revelation 19:17-18.)
Luke 17:37 KJV - "And they answered and said unto him, Where Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."
Revelation 19:17-18 KJV - "And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great."
Those who are left on earth to enter into the kingdom with the Lord. The following passages make this clear:
Matthew 13:41-43 KJV - "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."
Psalm 37:9-11 KJV - "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
CIRCUMCISION OR UNCIRCUMCISION?
ReplyDeleteI am not going to ask the question. It's none of my business anyway, but it does not matter which medical procedures you have endured, the "Circumcision" is not you. The "Circumcision" are Jews who are under a covenant of Law with God. They are those in the lineage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They are Hebrews, they are Israelites and they will one day in ages to come possess the land of Israel because this is God's promise to them.
We are Gentiles, we are the "Uncircumcision" and our gospel was committed to Paul. It was not committed to Peter. The gospel that was committed to Peter was the gospel of the Circumcision, which includes the law.
It is possible that someone who meets the criteria in the first paragraph is reading this and does not identify with "Gentile." But you should know that Paul was also sent to the Jews with His gospel and Paul explains that Jews in the present dispensation are counted in unbelief just as Gentiles. Peter's gospel of the "Circumcision" cannot even save Jews today. Jews must also come to God through Paul's gospel.
What does this mean? This means that you must believe in the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Christ for the forgiveness of sin according to the scriptures. There is no need of confession or turning from sin or water baptism. There is no need of enduring to the end of the tribulation because those of us who are saved by Grace will not be going through the tribulation.
The gospel of the uncircumcision was committed to the Apostle Paul.
=========================
THE GOSPEL, BY WHICH YE ARE SAVED:
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: ~1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
❓⁉️ A Cult of Paul? ⁉️ 🤔🤔
ReplyDeleteIn case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a lot of very foolish teachings being spread around on social media.
Apparently, if you share the truth about Paul being the apostle for the Gentiles and the main minister for the church the body of Christ, you’re very likely to be accused by ignorant brethren of being in “A CULT OF PAUL.”
Let’s have a look at what the scriptures say so we can clarify this matter and lay the issue to rest.
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Romans were instructed to follow Paul’s message, because Paul was “the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles” (Romans 15:15-16).
Were the Romans “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Corinthians were instructed to be followers of Paul, even as Paul was of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).
Were the Corinthians “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Galatians were instructed to believe no other gospel except for the one they had received from Paul (Galatians 1:6-9).
Were the Galatians “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Ephesians were instructed to believe that Paul had been made a minister for their benefit according to the dispensation of God’s grace that was given to him via the revelation of the mystery (Ephesians 3:1-9).
Were the Ephesians “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Philippians were told to “be followers together” of Paul (Philippians 3:17).
Were the Philippians “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Colossians were instructed to understand and believe that Paul had been made a minister for them according to the dispensation of God that was given to him (Colossians 1:25).
Were the Colossians “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The Thessalonians were instructed to walk orderly after the traditions which they had received from Paul (2 Thessalonians 3:6-7).
Were the Thessalonians “in a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
Timothy was instructed to inform other believers that they should “teach no other doctrine” except for the doctrine which Paul had preached to him (1 Timothy 1:3).
Was Timothy the leader of “a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
Titus was instructed to avoid foolish questions and unprofitable strivings about the law that are contrary to Paul’s doctrine (Titus 3:9).
Was Titus the leader of “a cult of Paul?”
🔥📖🔥📖🔥
The answer to all of these questions is NO — all these believers of the Gentile nations were instructed to follow Paul because Paul was Christ’s chosen messenger for delivering the message of salvation to the Gentile nations according to the revelation of the mystery (Romans 16:25).
If you’ve ever used the phrase “cult of Paul” while accusing a Bible believer of wrongfully following Paul’s message to the church the body of Christ, it is clear that you have not yet found correct understanding of the scriptures — and you’ve got a lot of learning to do.
If you accuse people of being “in a cult of Paul,” it means you haven’t yet learned to understand that Christ in the flesh was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew 15:24), and that Jesus later sent Paul to the Gentiles after the fall of Israel with a different message of salvation, which is for the people of all nations today (Romans 16:25-26, Acts 13:46-48).
Paul’s words in Romans through Philemon are “the commandments of the Lord” for us today in this present age (1 Corinthians 14:37-38) — but if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant ✅
HAVE WE BEEN “GRAFTED INTO ISRAEL?”
ReplyDelete(by Shawn Brasseaux)
Have we been grafted into Israel? Is that what Romans 11:16-24 teaches? As always, my dear readers, we look at the Bible and let it interpret itself. We should not have a denomination or religious tradition to promote. We should have a Person to exalt, and the Lord Jesus Christ is magnified when His Word is studied and believed no matter whom it contradicts!
No question about it. There is much controversy surrounding Romans 11:16-24. Honestly, there are some very outlandish ideas about what it teaches. Beloved, we should never, ever isolate a Bible passage. This set of verses is especially critical to our understanding as members of the Church the Body of Christ. We must get it right or we will face unanswerable confusion for the rest of our lives on Earth. Remember—Context! Context! Context! There are five preceding verses that lead up to Romans 11:16-24, and we need to heed them, lest we stumble over the verses they precede.
ROMANS 11:11-14
We begin reading Romans chapter 11: “[11] I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. [12] Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? [13] For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: [14] If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.”
According to the Old Testament, Israel was to rise to kingdom glory and be the channel of blessing and salvation to the Gentiles/nations (Genesis 12:1-3; Exodus 19:3-6; Isaiah 2:2-4; Isaiah 60:1-3; Isaiah 61:6; Zechariah 8:20-23). Through Israel (in her literal, physical, visible, earthly kingdom), Gentiles were to have a relationship with the one true God. Israel was to be God’s kingdom of priests. That has yet to happen. Something interrupted that prophetic program. It is our Dispensation of Grace, called “the Dispensation of the Grace of God” (Ephesians 3:2). In light of Romans 16:25, we can call it “the mystery program.” (Contrasted with Israel’s “prophetic program” of Acts 3:21). This present-day administration or arrangement was a mystery
(secret) that God hid in Himself until He revealed it to the Apostle Paul (Ephesians 3:1-11; Colossians 1:24-29). In Romans chapter 11, we are reading about some truths that make up that revelation the resurrected, ascended, and glorified Lord Jesus Christ gave to the Apostle Paul.
DeleteRomans chapter 11 declares that Israel has fallen before God. She has now lost her special status before God, albeit only temporarily Israel is fallen. That was the secret God kept hidden in the Old Testament. That was the mystery that He finally revealed to the Apostle Paul. In our Dispensation of Grace, Israel has lost the opportunity to be the head of the nations. She cannot be God’s channel of salvation and blessing to the Gentiles (nations). Gentiles cannot approach God through Israel and her kingdom. Why? Because Israel herself is in unbelief and Satanic captivity. Yet, we Gentiles have access to God today, and we Gentiles have had access to Him for almost 2,000 years now. How is this possible?
As we read earlier in Romans 11:11-12, Israel is temporarily “cast away,” fallen before God. By God removing Israel from her privileged position, Romans 11:11-12 explains what this means for the whole world: “[11] I say then, Have they [Israel] stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. [12] Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
In our dispensation, “the world” (all people/nations) has been “reconciled” to God. All people (Jew and Gentile) can now approach Him—not through Israel or her kingdom—but through Paul’s ministry (Romans 11:13) and Paul’s Gospel. God no longer makes the distinction between Jew and Gentile—to God, even Jews are “Gentiles.” Unlike in time past, in the but now, there is no “special nation of God” today. God only sees people in His Son (whether Jew or Gentile), and people outside of His Son (whether Jew or Gentile).
Romans 11:13, again: “For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office.” Paul is our apostle. That is, the risen, ascended, and glorified Lord Jesus Christ commissioned him to preach to us—all nations (Romans 1:5; Romans 16:26)—the good news of Calvary (“the Gospel of the Grace of God;” Acts 20:24). Reading from 2 Corinthians 5:19,21: “[19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. [21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
Now, “the world” (all nations) has the opportunity to be made “nigh” (near) to God by Christ’s shed blood. It has nothing to do with Israel because Israel is not an issue with God today. We have not been “grafted into Israel” because there is no “Israel” to be grafted into! Let us see Ephesians 2:11-13: “[11] Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12] That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
“In Christ Jesus,” in this context (verse 13), is a reference to members of the Church the Body of Christ. “The blood of Christ”—the Gospel Message that Paul preached—is the means whereby we approach Father God today. When we trust the shed blood of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for our sins, God credits that to our account as righteousness, and we are fit for heaven forever (Romans 4:1-8). There is no redeemed Israel here. There is no earthly Israeli kingdom here. Our salvation is dependent entirely upon what Jesus Christ did at Calvary, not upon what we do or do not do, not upon Israel, not upon her kingdom, not upon anything else.
DeleteWhile more could be said, for brevity’s sake, we must move on to the rest of Romans chapter 11.
ROMANS 11:15-24
Reading Paul’s words in Romans chapter 11: “[15] For if the casting away of them [Israel] be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? [16] For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. [17] And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; [18] Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. [19] Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. [20] Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: [21] For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. [22] Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. [23] And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. [24] For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?”
What Romans 11:16-24 is talking about is that we (“the world,” the nations; see verse 15) have now been given access to God, the access Israel enjoyed before she fell, the access we were to have as Gentiles had Israel not fallen. Because of Christ’s finished crosswork, we can partake of the spiritual things once offered to Israel—eternal life, justification, sanctification, peace, forgiveness, love, acceptance, et cetera. Olive wood is a symbol of access or entry into God’s fellowship/blessings. The Temple, God’s house, had olive doors (1 Kings 6:31-32). Access to God’s glory back then involved passing through olive-wood doors.
One day, God will “cut off” the nations of the world (verses 20-22). They will no longer have access to Him apart from Israel. As Israel’s unbelief led to her fall, the nations’ unbelief (rejection of Paul’s Gospel) will eventually lead to their fall (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Once prophecy resumes, Israel will again be brought to the forefront in God’s dealings with mankind. When our program ends with the Rapture, Gentiles who remain on Earth will have to approach God through Israel as Gentiles did before our Dispensation of Grace began. That is the warning of Romans 11:20-24. (It is not loss of salvation for members of the Body of Christ. People make that mistake here. It is talking about unsaved Gentiles losing their “without-Israel” method of access to the God of the Bible.) God’s grace will not always be offered to mankind as it has been in our Dispensation of Grace. Gentiles who are not part of the Body of Christ are urged not to be prideful, bragging about how Israel fell so they (Gentiles) could enjoy God’s blessings, for one day Gentiles will lose the privilege we as the Body of Christ members now enjoy. Israel will be restored one day, and those Gentiles outside of the Body of Christ will have to bless Israel to fellowship with the one true God (Matthew 25:31-46). Once Israel’s program resumes after our program, those Gentiles who do not bless Israel will wind up in everlasting hellfire (again, see Matthew 25:31-46).
DeleteWe are not grafted into Israel. Israel is “fallen” and “enemies of God” (Romans 11:11,28). In 1 Thessalonians 2:16, Paul says, “the wrath [of God] is come upon them to the uttermost.” What advantage is there in being grafted into a nation that God does not acknowledge? It is nonsense. Is it really a privilege to be in a nation that God’s wrath has fallen upon, which wrath caused that nation’s fall? Of course not.
We (Gentiles, the world) have been “graffed in” in that God has paid for our sins at Calvary and He offers us fellowship with Him without Israel’s participation. We have access to Father God by faith in Jesus Christ’s finished crosswork. In fact, Jesus Christ’s faith is His trust in God the Father’s Word to send Him to Calvary. Notice again what Paul wrote to us Gentiles. “For through him [Jesus Christ] we both [Jew and Gentile] have access by one Spirit unto the Father” (Ephesians 2:18). “[Christ Jesus our Lord] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him” (Ephesians 3:12). There is nothing about Israel’s involvement. We have fellowship with Father God through Jesus Christ’s finished crosswork at Calvary. Jesus Christ alone is the one Mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:5).
CONCLUSION
Romans 11:15-24 is basically saying that all Gentile nations are “graffed in” in the sense of we having equal access to God through Calvary (Ephesians 2:11-15). All nations can approach God today without Israel. In fact, even Israel is considered as a Gentile nation. Olive wood in the Bible symbolizes access to God: for example, the doors of the Temple were olive wood (1 Kings 6:31-34).
One day, after our Dispensation of Grace, God will resume His dealings with Israel, thus “cutting off” the Gentile nations. At that time, Israel will have preeminence again and every nation will have to approach God through Israel (as prophecy dictates). The Gentiles should not boast about God cutting off Israel today, since God will one day restore Israel and judge and destroy those Gentiles who fail to approach Him through Israel (verses 20-24). This passage, contrary to common belief, is not talking about the Church the Body of Christ being cut off (as in “loss of salvation”), but rather the warning in Romans 11:19-22 is spoken to those Gentiles who do not become members of the Body of Christ. If they do not become members of the Body of Christ by faith in Paul’s Gospel, they will have spurned God’s offer of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19-21), and they will be lost in Israel’s program when it resumes under the Antichrist’s reign (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).
The Justifier of the Ungodly
ReplyDelete“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” – Romans 4:5
Most every religion teaches that to be counted righteous before God, we must prove ourselves righteous.
The faith of every religious man is in vain if they believe that ungodly men cannot be justified before God.
Of course, ungodliness is wrong and is rightly condemned by God and man, but God has provided a means to justify ungodly people without their good works.
If your faith squirms at this admission then your faith is entirely unacceptable to God, and you have no faith in the gospel that saves.
Evaluate the content of your faith, you may find it is faith in yourself and your own godliness, instead of God’s provision.
God can justify the ungodly who place their faith in the blood of Christ as paying for their sins.
Faith in the Death and Resurrection
“But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” – Rom 4:24-25
If your faith does not include the resurrection of Christ on your behalf, which constitutes the finished work of Christ, then your faith is in vain.
“And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain;…” – 1 Cor 15:17
However, righteousness can be imputed to you if we believe in God, who delivered Christ for our offences, and raised him up for our justification.
Many “people of faith” claim ignorance about how God saves them, or that their faith is found in circumstances, or “every day miracles”. This is not a faith God respects.
Faith comes from hearing the word of God (Rom 10:17). Even then, when the Bible says to have faith, we must ask, “faith in what?”
Not all men in the Bible had faith in the same thing. Faith in a covenant, the law, the kingdom come, or even the name of the Son of God is not the content of the gospel today.
Faith in Christ’s work on your behalf is what has been offered for your belief. It is not faith in any thing that matters, it is faith in the right thing: faith in the gospel for today.
Believe the Gospel
“By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” – 1 Cor 15:2-4
Without Christ’s death and resurrection Christian faith is blind, impotent to save, foolish, and unacceptable to God. This is why Paul places so much emphasis on the preaching of the cross as the object of your belief.
If this doctrinal faith makes you uncomfortable, or conflicts with what you think God should accept, then your faith is not based on the Bible, and is not based in reality.
People believe miracles, and can be condemned when they die.
People believe in angels, and good deeds, and karma, and will be guilty on judgment day.
People have faith in humanity, good will, and charity and will not be saved because they have rejected God’s provision.
We are saved by trusting the gospel of our salvation, not by faith in feelings, churches, popes, religious systems, good works, hard work, church going, angels, miracles, or any of the millions of things people of faith believe.
The gospel of our salvation is the finished work of Christ on our behalf (Eph1:13).
One thing saves. Only one faith is acceptable. Only one faith was taught by Paul as the gospel. That is faith in Christ’s death for our sins, his physical burial, and literal resurrection for our eternal life.
Christ’s cross work is what saves. Is your faith in that?
