1) De gender-industrie is een miljardenbusiness. Waar grote sommen geld te verdienen vallen, zijn vaak perverse belangen te vinden.
De wetenschappelijke publicatie waarop deze wet is gebaseerd, leunt op onderzoek dat is gefinancierd door Pfizer - een miljardenbedrijf dat gigantische winsten maakt aan medische transities.
Belangenverstrengeling van de bovenste plank.
2) Deze wet verspert de weg voor psychische hulp bij genderdysforie. Het betekent namelijk dat élke vorm van (psychische) hulp verboden wordt, tenzij de hulpverlener de cliënt (vaak zijn dit kinderen) bevestigt in zijn of haar gedachten.
Iemand die leidt aan anorexia en zichzelf te dik vindt helpen we ook niet door dit te bevestigen en diegene te ondersteunen bij het afvallen, of zelfs te behandelen met een maagverkleining of liposuctie.
Het verbieden van psychische hulp maakt kwetsbare mensen niet beter, maar berooft hen van de ondersteuning die ze nodig hebben. #FVD
In the debate on conversion treatments, @GideonvMeijeren
raises a number of crucial issues:
1) The gender industry is a multi-billion dollar business. Where there is large sums of money to be made, perverse interests can often be found.
The scientific publication on which this law is based relies on research funded by Pfizer – a multi-billion dollar company that makes huge profits from medical transitions.
Conflict of interest of the highest order.
2) This law blocks the way for psychological help for gender dysphoria. It means that any form of (psychological) help is prohibited, unless the care provider confirms the client (often these are children) in his or her thoughts.
We do not help someone who suffers from anorexia and thinks they are too fat by confirming this and supporting them in losing weight, or even treating them with a gastric reduction or liposuction.
Banning mental health services does not make vulnerable people better, but deprives them of the support they need. #FVD
