This was the last album from 2nd Chapter of Acts that featured original material. The supporting tour for this album was also their last live performance. That performance was on August 12th of 1988. There were quite a few comments at the time of release that it was a final album only recorded to finish out a contract, i.e. mailed it in. I don't think so, the album has a bit more upbeat than their previous albums and felt fairly progressive for them. I almost wonder if this more upbeat sound would have been a great direction for them which could have provided a bit more life for the band. Matthew Wards solo career was well under way at this point and maybe he found it all just too overwhelming to be in both bands. Anyway give this one a listen if you like your easy listening with some keyboards.

About 2nd Chapter Of Acts

They're former Catholics and they became Pentecostals, hence their name '2nd Chapter of Acts'.

I saw them perform live (not with a backing band but with a music tape) in the '80s in the Netherlands and I bought their latest album (LP) and it got signed by Annie and her younger sister Nelly and I talked to them a bit.

 

The Body of Christ didn't start at 2nd chapter of Acts, because that was a miracle and a fulfillment of a prophecy for Israel, but it paved the way for what happened thereafter, after our Apostle Paul got saved.

If you believe this you're not only saved but sealed with the Holy Spirit and rapture-ready.
Read your Bible everyday and talk to our creator about everything and make Him your best Friend and share this GOOD NEWS = GOSPEL with others.

In the past I didn't know what's wrong with the word 'EASTER'.

It has NOTHING to do with the Biblical Lord JESUS Christ but everything with BABYLON!

Annie said she loves the sound of 'church bells' and mind you she has a CATHOLIC background.

When I grew up I disliked that sound because I never went to 'church'!

My late dad was an atheist and my late mom was a non-practicing Catholic

CHURCH BELLS are NOT BIBLICAL and they have most certainly nothing to do with the JEWISH Lord JESUS Christ!! 

We also don't need to become 'born again', because that was and is something for JEWS since the Hebrews were already 'born' as God's chosen people, so the Lord JESUS told them they needed to become BORN AGAIN.

PAGANS or GENTILES were NEVER part of God's chosen people so they need to become a NEW CREATURE.
