Angela Merkel OK After Visibly Shaking Next to Ukrainian President

I know much of this is old news but I couldn’t help making some comments about this.

Germany’s Merkel “retired” some time in December last year and had a gala event to commemorate the occasion. People might still remember that Nuevo-Nazi vibe to the whole affair with black uniformed police/military (now around the world little difference between police and the military) brandishing flaming torches and the whole “cinema-esque” set design with ominous theatrical lighting that framed the celebratory incident. 

 

The operative word here is “ominous” and begs the question, “What the f-ck?” Germany of all places should make a very conscious effort to avoid any taste of Nazism, or even avoid any hint of “ominous”—no nation except ones with malicious intent should present themselves as ominous.
