Hugo's ATTACK on the rapture - Read my comments

Jul 9, 2023

When Hugo talks about 'forbidden things' he puts it on his own site, but when he attacks the rapture he uses the devilish YouTube to propagate this.

Important pre-Jacob's Trouble-rapture verses

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 King James Version
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 King James Version
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

'the day of Christ' is the day on which the RAPTURE will happen and 'a falling away' is what will happen after the RAPTURE

1 Corinthians 15:50-52 King James Version
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Philippians 3:20-21 King James Version
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Titus 2:13 King James Version
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ

1 Thessalonians 2:19 King James Version
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

1 Thessalonians 5:9 King James Version
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 1599 Geneva Bible
13 I would not brethren, have you ignorant concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus is dead, and is risen, even so them which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him.
15 For this say we unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which live, and are remaining in the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which sleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then shall we which live and remain, be caught up with them also in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore, comfort yourselves one another with these words.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 1599 Geneva Bible
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our assembling unto him,
2 That ye be not suddenly moved from your mind, nor troubled neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as it were from us, as though the day of Christ were at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition.
4 Which is an adversary, and exalteth himself against all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he doth sit as God in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

'the day of Christ' is the day on which the RAPTURE will happen and 'departing' is the RAPTURE and 'a falling away' (KJV) is the effect of the rapture among left behind believers

1 Corinthians 15:50-52 1599 Geneva Bible
50 This say I, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I show you a secret thing, We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shall be raised up incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Philippians 3:20-21 1599 Geneva Bible
20 But our conversation is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Savior, even the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Titus 2:13 1599 Geneva Bible
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and appearing of that glory of that mighty God, and of our Savior Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 2:19 1599 Geneva Bible
19 For what is our hope or joy, or crown of rejoicing? are not even you it in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

1 Thessalonians 5:9 1599 Geneva Bible
9 For God hath not appointed us unto wrath, but to obtain salvation by the means of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The rapture is ONLY for SAVED sinners!
We all need to be saved from having to spend our eternity in God's lake of fire, because that's a fate we ALL deserve.
So be SAVED and believe that God LOVES us so MUCH that He manifested Himself on earth as the Lord JESUS Christ who shed His sinless blood for the forgiveness of our sins, who was buried and rose from the dead, three days later, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
If you believe this you're not only saved but sealed with the Holy Spirit and rapture-ready.
Read your Bible every day and talk to our creator about everything and make Him your best Friend and share this GOOD NEWS = GOSPEL with others.

 @MichaelWilliams-eq4kt  Apostasia means DEPARTURE.
It has NOTHING to do with the English word apostasy'.
Greek is NOT English!

Read the RIGHT translation!
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
1599 Geneva Bible

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our assembling unto him,

2 That ye be not suddenly moved from your mind, nor troubled neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as it were from us, as though the day of Christ were at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition.

DEPARTING is the RAPTURE on the DAY OF CHRIST, which is NOT the DAY OF THE LORD = the Second Coming of JESUS

Was a Pre-Trib Rapture Taught before the 1800's?

The Margaret MacDonald Origin for the Rapture False.

Many who don’t believe in a pre-trip Rapture claim it originated approximately 1830. They point to John Darby (1827) and/or Margaret MacDonald. They usually say Margaret MacDonald started this theological view back in 1830. The claim is typically made that MacDonald received a demonic vision, passed it on to John Darby, who in turn popularized it. This really doesn't make since for one Darby began to write about a pre-trib Rapture in the 1820's before MacDonald supposedly had her vision. MacDonald's vision wasn't even published until 1840. On top of that MacDonald's statement has nothing about a pre-trib Rapture. It's more a partial Rapture and even post-trib Rapture. So I don't know why they keep referring to her as the origin of the pre-trib Rapture. And there were others already seeing from the scriptures and teaching a pre-trib Rapture in the 1700's. Disproving the assertion that the pre-trib Rapture wasn't taught until the 1800's proves rather easy. Pre-trib scholars have discovered a host of Rapture writings that predate Margaret MacDonald. Remember, the assertion is that 'no' one believed or taught a pre-trib Rapture until the 1800's. While the Bible should be our source, no matter what has or has not been taught throughout Church history, here’s just a few writings from the early church fathers that believed and taught a pre-trib Rapture.

Epharaem the Syrian (306 AD - 373 AD), A deacon in the large church in Syria he later became the bishop of the church at Nisibis. In his work, On The Last Times - Two, Ephraim wrote:

We ought to understand thoroughly therefore, my brothers, what is imminent or overhanging. . . . Why therefore do we not reject every care of earthly actions and prepare ourselves for the meeting of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that he may draw us from the confusion, which overwhelms all the world? Believe you me, dearest brothers, because the coming of the Lord is nigh, believe you me, because the end of the world is at hand, believe me, because it is the very last time. Or do you not believe unless you see with your eyes? . . . See to it that this sentence be not fulfilled among you of the prophet who declares: "Woe to those who desire to see the day of the Lord!  "For all the saints and Elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins."

Epharaem said to 'prepare ourselves for the meeting of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that he may draw us from the confusion'. He said the coming of the Lord is near. Then he said, "For all the saints and Elect of God are gathered, 'prior to the tribulation' that is to come". He even used the word imminent. That's describing a pre-trib Rapture. He was quoting Amos when he refers to the day of the Lord,

Amos 5: 18 Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord!
For what good is the day of the Lord to you? It will be darkness, and not light.

The day of the Lord is the time of the Tribulation, not Jesus' 2nd coming. You better believe everyone living during the time of the Tribulation that have come to believe on/in Jesus will be desiring, longing for the 2nd coming. So, to say the day of the Lord is referring to Jesus' 2nd coming doesn't make since.

But we go can back further than that.

Irenaeus (A.D. 120-202), died as a martyr for his faith, wrote Against Heresies, one of the most important prophetic writings of the primitive Church. Irenaeus was a disciple of Polycarp (A.D. 69-155), who was personally taught by the apostle John who received and wrote Revelation. The writings of Polycarp have been lost to history. I’ve read that his writings were burned in a fire. But there are many early commentaries that quote him as well as Irenaeus. We do have many writings from Irenaeus. Irenaeus taught a pre-millennial view, that Jesus would literally return and set up his earthly kingdom here on earth for a literal 1000 years, a 7-year tribulation and the rapture of the Church. Papias (60 -130) is another early Church father that was taught by the Apostle John. He was 10 years old when Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed. Cyprian (200-258) wrote enthusiastically about the imminent coming of the Lord. All of these early Church fathers also taught and wrote that John was on the Isle of Patmos in 95 a.d. when he received and wrote the book of Revelation. If anyone would know what John taught and when he was on the Isle of Patmos these men would.

Irenaeus (120 A.D. - 202 AD)

In his five volume treatise, Against Heresies, after going into some detail concerning what will be occurring during the Tribulation, in book 5 chapter 29, Irenaeus mentions the Rapture.

And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, "There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be." For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.

Irenaeus used the same Harpazo, "caught up" as Paul did 1 Thessalonians 4. He said suddenly caught up from this, 'then' there shall be tribulation. So, it sounds like Irenaeus believed that the Rapture of the Church would occur prior to the beginning of the Tribulation.

Cyprian (200 AD - 258 AD)

The bishop of the early church at Carthage was beheaded for his faith in 258 AD and was a great pillar of the early church. In his work Treatise of Cyprian 7 he wrote:

We who see that terrible things have begun, and know that still more terrible things are imminent, may regard it as the greatest advantage to depart from it as quickly as possible. ... And do you not give God thanks, do you not congratulate yourself, that by an early departure you are taken away, and delivered from the shipwrecks and disasters that are imminent? ... Let us greet the day which assigns each of us to his own home, which snatches us hence, and sets us free from the snares of the world and restores us to paradise and the kingdom.

Cyprian said, regard it as the greatest advantage to 'depart from it' quickly, by an 'early departure' you are 'taken away', delivered 'from'. He used the word imminent. Sounds like a pre-trib Rapture.

For almost a 1000 yrs., the time of the medieval Church, also called the dark ages, of which during this time the Roman Catholic Church was all there was, the medieval Church gradually dismissed the literal truths of the Bible. The most fundamental Biblical doctrines as taught in the Bible were lost until the reformation with John Wycliffe, John Huss, William Tyndale, John Calvin and Martin Luther. The Protestant Reformation was based on the unshakable principle “Sola Scripture” (only Scripture). The Protestant Reformation was predominantly based on the rejection of centuries of accumulated man made doctrines, Roman Catholic Church traditions, and a return to the authority of the Word of God. The Protestant Reformation reached a boiling point when Martin Luther posted his Ninety-five Theses in 1520. During the dark ages the Bible was in Latin and none of the people could read Latin and compounding the problem very few Priest could either. Once the Bible was translated into German and English people were able to read and find the truths of the Bible for themselves. The invention of the Gutenberg Press greatly facilitated the distribution of printed Bibles to the people. Since the reformation the truths of the Bible have slowly been rediscovered.

The Doctrine of the Rapture being lost shouldn’t be a surprise, the doctrine of Justification by faith (Romans 1:17), salvation by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8-9) was also, the teaching had become salvation by works.

So, the assertion that a pre-trib Rapture wasn't taught for 1800 years is false. We see some of the earliest Church fathers believed and taught a pre-trib Rapture. There were more than these I shared. The fact is the Bible shows us that there will indeed be a catching up of the believers and that it will be before the time of the Tribulation, before the judgment and wrath of God is poured out on a Christ rejecting world.

Maranatha, come Lord Jesus.

The Jesuits changed the rapture doctrine so that people would look for a mystery man who was going to become that antichrist instead of it always being the Pope.
But at the time that wasn't relevant at all because that was centuries ago, so they put that false teaching 'on ice' for centuries.
And now in this day and age that teaching is relevant because we are close to the rapture.
The KJV, which is the Bible of the Anglican Church, and which is NOT the true Reformation Bible, changed 2 Thessalonians 2:3 so that people first look for "a falling away" instead for the "departing" = the rapture, as it is in the Geneva Bible and the even older translation of the New Testament by William Tyndale.
It is not the rapture that is a Catholic deception, but what the Catholic Church has made of it and King James was a Freemason and he served the Vatican!

The four Gospels are for ISRAEL!
The GRACE Gospel is for EVERYBODY.
Look up: Israel's Kingdom Gospel and Our Grace Gospel

The ENTIRE book of Revelation is NOT about the Body of Christ!
Rightly dividing the Word is the goal of this article, and it is an indispensable key to proper understanding of the Bible. The abundance of scriptural evidence detailed in the third section makes it very clear that Revelation is doctrine for Israel, which was written to Jews who believed in Jesus Christ, by an apostle of the circumcision, for direct application in the prophetic "kingdom" dispensation. At the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, God placed that dispensation in abeyance in 70 AD, to be resumed in the future tribulation.

The entire book of Revelation, including chapters 1-3, is deeply rooted in Old Testament prophecy. It is doctrinally aligned with the epistles of Peter, James, John, and Jude, all of whom were apostles of the circumcision, as well as to the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Hebrews, and the Old Testament.

The dispensation of grace in which we now live is revealed in Romans through Philemon, our Apostle Paul's letters to the Gentiles, with Acts being the book of transition between the two dispensations.

Hugo thinks he's a member of ISRAEL!
He mixed the Kingdom Gospel for Israel (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) with the Gospel of Grace: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
He's trying to get saved by doing good works!

The 'Left Behind' series is not based on the Gospel of Grace by JESUS Christ THROUGH the apostle Paul!

WE DON'T LIVE IN THE END TIMES! The end times start AFTER the rapture and before the Time of Jacob's Trouble, because the prophetic word is about ISRAEL and NOT about the Body of Christ!

SAVED?

    I can read.
it says 'And whereby ye ARE saved, IF ye keep in memory, after what manner I preached it unto you, except ye have believed in vain.'
Yes, and how are you saved.
In the Bible, Romans 10:9-10 says: “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart there is believing unto righteousness, and with the mouth there is confession unto salvation.”
It is the salvation of your soul.
And there is Nothing here about a rapture before a 7 year tribulation.

@HugoTalks We ARE saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit by believing the super simple gospel, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
CONSEQUENTLY we confess with our mouth (if we can speak) that JESUS is LORD and NOT to be saved by it, for we already ARE if we BELIEVE in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
I pray you will understand that Hugo, because you have a great influence on many people.
People who believe in the rapture seven years prior to the Second Coming of Christ JESUS are not at all afraid of persecution, but they have the blessed hope of Titus 2:13 1599 Geneva Bible
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and appearing of that glory of that mighty God, and of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

      Ephesians 1:7 Geneva Bible
By whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins, according to his rich grace

      Hebrews 9:22
      1599 Geneva Bible
22 And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission.

      Ephesians 2:8-9 1599 Geneva Bible
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God,
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast himself.

ONCE SEALED, ALWAYS SEALED for those who ARE SAVED:

      Ephesians 1:13 1599 Geneva Bible
13 In whom also ye have trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, even the Gospel of your salvation, wherein also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise

      JESUS promised us EVERLASTING LIFE:
      John 3:16 1599 Geneva Bible

    2. Matthew 25:46 1599 Geneva Bible
46 And these shall go into everlasting pain, and the righteous into life eternal.
'these' are the those who refused to believe in JESUS and 'the righteous' are those who are saved by God's undeserved gift of grace through faith alone in the blood of JESUS that was shed for the remission of our sins and His resurrection from the dead, and they are also the righteous of the Old Testament and of the coming Time of Jacob's Trouble, aka the great tribulation.

Bible quotes are from the 1599 Geneva Bible and if you use the King James Bible 1611 that's also good. Keep in mind that the KJV was made in response to the GNV (Geneva Bible).
It's ALL about 'I AM SALVATION' 'the ANOINTED ONE' = JESUS the CHRIST according to what our apostle Paul has taught us ON HIS BEHALF in Romans through Philemon.
Read the ENTIRE Bible through (t)his perspective because that's THE GOSPEL OF GRACE by JESUS through Paul.
AFTER the RAPTURE the GOSPEL of the KINGDOM will come into effect AGAIN.

      @HugoTalks THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION

Many Modern Christian sects erroneously teach salvation is by something a sinner DOES. They make a person's salvation dependent upon the works of the sinner. But nothing could be further from the truth of God's word. According to the Bible, salvation is by taking what Jesus DID on the cross of Calvary, when he shed his blood to pay for the sins of man. This FINISHED WORK, once and for all, is the only thing that can give man the new birth, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life.

The Bible clearly presents the Gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4:

      1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Notice the Gospel is what JESUS DID FOR MAN, and not what MAN CAN DO FOR GOD!

      Delete
    3. A person is only saved by BELIEVING upon the finished work of Jesus Christ, when he shed his Precious Blood for our sins. This blood atonement was necessary, for without shedding of blood, is no remission (Heb. 9:22). God has always demanded blood for sin. In the Old Testament, God accepted the blood of a lamb. In the New Testament, God accepts the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the LAMB OF GOD, slain for your sins.

The Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 has five parts:

      1 Christ died
      2. For our sins
      3. Was buried
      4. Rose Again
      5. According to the Scriptures

An old preacher once said, "YOU CANNOT PREACH THE GOSPEL WITHOUT PREACHING THE BLOOD ATONEMENT OF CHRIST AND YOU CANNOT PREACH THE BLOOD ATONEMENT OF CHRIST WITHOUT PREACHING THE GOSPEL!"

This is absolute Bible truth! For salvation by Jesus Christ's bloody sacrifice on the cross is the only means in which God offers eternal life.

Just as we see the blood of Christ in the five wounds He bear on the cross, so we too see the blood of Jesus in the the five points of the Gospel.

Christ died. Jesus shed every drop of his precious blood on the cross of Calvary, dying in man's place for man's sins. His blood dropped into the ground.

For our sins. The Bible likens sin unto blood in Isaiah 1:18: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Scarlet and crimson are the color of BLOOD.

Was buried. Jesus Christ was buried in the same ground in which his blood was spilt. When Abel, died, we read the following words in Gen. 4:10, "...the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground." Shed blood speaks to God! Hebrews 12:24 then tell us the following about the blood of Jesus: "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel." Christ's blood speaks as well!

Rose Again. When Jesus rose again, the Bible tells us Jesus Christ took his blood to heaven, and sprinkled it on the mercy seat there (Heb. 9:12-25), where it's still waiting to wash away the sins of the most vilest sinner! Are you washed in the blood?

According to the Scriptures. The whole Old Testament points to Jesus Christ as the Messiah. He's pictured time and again in all the sacrifices the Jews slaughtered in the temple for the atonement of their sins. When Jesus died on the cross and the sacrificial Lamb of God, shedding his blood, he fulfilled prophecy written of him all throughout the Old Testament.

So there you have it! The BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST is found all throughout the Gospel. You can't preach the blood, without preaching the Gospel, and you can't preach the Gospel without preaching the Blood. For the Bible clearly teaches salvation is by FAITH, without WORKS (Eph. 2:8,). Faith in what? FAITH IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!

      Romans 3:25-28 make this clear:

      25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
To be justified, or saved, a person's faith must be wholly in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This declares God the Just one. When a sinner is saved, he cannot boast about himself or his works. He'll only brag upon Jesus who saved him from his sins!

Sadly, in our modern age of apostasy, very few who claim to be Christians ever preach the blood of Jesus for salvation. But the simple Bible truth is, YOU CANNOT EVEN BE A CHRISTIAN UNLESS YOU ARE TRUSTING ONLY IN THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!

I'm not attacking you: I didn't believe this before either because I didn't know and I'm even a former atheist.

    5. @kathyweckerle6880 The gospel of John is great, but it's not addressed to gentiles (non-Jews) but Jews.

They need to believe in the NAME of the only begotten Son of God and that He's their Christ = Messiah.
For gentiles it was NEVER important WHO the Messiah = Christ would be
The apostle Paul was the ONLY apostle of the gentiles and the Lord JESUS instructed him to tell them what The Gospel is: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.....and NOTHING ELSE!
We need to believe what the Lord JESUS HAS DONE for us and in John 3:16 this still had to happen.
John 3:16 is the PROMISE and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 is the FINISHED WORK of GOD-the LORD JESUS Christ for EVERYBODY, BOTH Jew and gentile, male and female.
Please read the comments I made above.

@HugoTalks how many times did Jesus say believe in Him for eternal life to Nic?

so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
      — John 3:15-18

Did Jesus forget to say confess too? you like many many others have taken Romans chapter 10 completely out of context. That is written to brethren. that is faith plus something else for temporal salvation. The root word says safe”. Entire Gospel of John is written so that people would know how to have eternal life.

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
      — John 20:31

@HansS11160 incorrect. The Gospel of John is for all, Matt, Mark, Luke had more directed to Jews. Jesus death and resurrection proved who He is. Many believe what He did but they do not believe in Him for eternal life. We are to believe in Jesus, the giver, for the free gift of eternal life. He promised all who believe will never perish. John 3:16 We can’t earn it so we can’t lose it. One drink, believe His message, and you will never thirst again.
The object of belief is His promise, not a list of Good News, Gospel is good news. The saving message is the living water. You receive by believing John 1:12

But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
      — Galatians 3:22

Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.
      — 1 Timothy 1:16

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
      — John 4:14

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
      — John 6:35-40

    7. @kathyweckerle6880 You still don't understand the difference between Israel's Kingdom Gospel and the Gospel of Grace
, because you haven't studied the article

Israel's Kingdom Gospel and Our Grace Gospel

Look it up...it's easy to find.

The Lord JESUS preached ONLY to Israel and on those few occasions when non-Jews were also in His audience, they heard from Him Israel's Kingdom Gospel and not the Grace Gospel which He revealed to Paul ONLY.

Like so many believers in the Lord JESUS you mix Israel's Kingdom Gospel with our Grace Gospel, simply because you don't know the difference.

@HansS11160 I understand the difference between the Gospel of the Kingdom directed to Israel and the Gospel of Christ, and the application of Revelation to the world (as future) and the overlaps in Daniel and Ezekiel, and passages applying to the remnant of Israel, etc. That is a lot to explain when we began with what the saving message is verses the good news in 1 Cor 15. We apparently disagree that the Gospel of John is for all unbelievers.
I will also point out a distinction with 1st John written to all believers.

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
      — 1 John 5:11-13

Not sure why you make so much emphasis on Paul for Gentiles only. He certainly did reach out to the Gentiles with the good news. So did Jesus, like the woman at the well (John 4)

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
      — Galatians 3:26-29

@HansS11160 you just brought something up that I hear a lot here on YouTube, most legalistic Christians that claim they will be here during the tribulation say they must endure to the end. But they leave out the part that the grace period has ended, and they will have to do something to earn their salvation.

    1. @ChaplainBobWalkerBTh Yes, there are Jews who love JESUS!
Just ask the people of 'Jews for Jesus' and ask Paul, the JESUS loving JEW who gave us THE Gospel.
      ARE YOU SAVED?
We all need to be saved from having to spend our eternity in God's lake of fire, because that's a fate we ALL deserve.
So be SAVED and believe that God LOVES us so MUCH that He manifested Himself on earth as the Lord JESUS Christ who shed His sinless blood for the forgiveness of our sins, who was buried and rose from the dead, three days later, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
If you believe this you're not only saved but sealed with the Holy Spirit and rapture-ready.
Read your Bible every day and talk to our creator about everything and make Him your best Friend and share this GOOD NEWS = GOSPEL with others.

so you think the antichrists are Israel? 1 John 2:22 - Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (ALL Jews deny Jesus and that makes them antichrist, if they believed in Jesus then they would be CHRISTIANS. IF you do not believe me call any Synagogue and ask them if Jesus is the Messiah.)

1 John 2:23 - Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

If Jews do not accept Jesus as messiah, then who is their messiah? SATAN?

1 Corinthians 16:22 - If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema (CURSED) Maranatha.

DO JEWS LOVE JESUS OR ARE THEY CURSED?
