Of course God can change the minds of the fallen angels, including Lucifer after they've been cast into the lake of fire of eternal torture.
Then they will confess that JESUS is LORD and they will stay there forever and God will ignore them, because as soon as they would be freed from this prison they would start to be rebellious again.

Yes, but of course the members of Black Sabbath aren't yet saved, but they do have a Christian-religious background as British artists and the same goes for many American hard rock and heavy metal bands too.
God used music like in the past when I was an atheist to make me wonder what they were singing about because the Dutch word for match is LUCIFER and I've learned that in the past the British used that word too for a match.
Now I know that if we light a match we remember Lucifer of his future, because this criminal is always trying to remind us of our past.

The anti rock fundie crowd always use this track to try and tag Sabbath as a Satanic band. Utter bull and not far away from bearing false witness. The context is more of a warning about being taken in by the wiles of Lucifer. I'm a Gospel believer who can listen to Sabbath with a clear conscience. They come out with more truth about the fallen human condition, the search for greater meaning, the need for redemption and what lies beyond the grave than a lot of milque toast 'Christian' artists.

Absolutely brother. Salvation is all of Grace, all of Christ and wholly received by faith alone. My only claim to righteousness is Christ dying, being buried and rising again on my behalf and depending on that and nothing else, I am His and He is mine and that is how it will be forever. Glory to God! I don 't know the heart state of the boys in Sabbath but hoping and praying they find peace with God through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. The point I was making is that they're not the devil worshippers they're often misrepresented as being. I do love metal music but prefer it to be God glorifying and performed by those who know the Gospel of Grace and the Grace of the Gospel; rejoicing in the sure hope of everlasting life through Jesus Christ the Lord. There's a lot of metal I would stay well clear off but Sabbath doesn't fall into that bracket for me. These are individual matters of Christian liberty of course.

Forgot about Ronnie Dio and him being no longer with us. I was thinking more about the original and best line up- Tony, Ozzy, Geezer and Bill. Their first 6 albums is what Sabbath are most remembered for. 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules' with Dio handling the vocals were great but it just wasn't the dirgy, doomy, caterwauling classic Sabbath sound. Whatever happened to the soul of Ronnie James, we can only leave with the Lord.,the Judge of all the earth who shall do what is right. Hope he did put his trust in Christ's work for him before departing the scene of time as that is all that is required to make a sinner 'accepted in the Beloved' and open up Heaven for them. Regarding those that are surviving, while there is breath in the body, there is still hope. We just have to keep praying for them that the light of the Glorious Gospel will shine into their hearts and that they will believe and be saved. Our God is able and willing to save to the uttermost.

@Blood bought Big Phil R Now there's a difference in believing in JESUS, which a lot of people do, and being SAVED according to the right gospel, so I'm not sure about those all people and the same goes for Mark Farner (ex Grand Funk Raillroad), Ken Hensley (ex Uriah Heep) and Rick Wakeman (ex YES) and several more.
All I know for SURE is that I'm saved according to The Gospel of Grace, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
I'm a former atheist and at first I was glad to hear about 'famous' people who had become believers in JESUS and I've got a lot of gospel music in all kinds of styles, but to me it's important to know whether they are really saved, because I used to believe what so many people believe and that's a mixture of what is meant for the Jews and what is meant for the members of the Body of Christ, and there's a big difference between the gospel of the Kingdom for Israel and the gospel of Grace for the Gentiles, by JESUS through Paul.
I'm not judging anyone, and I hope you see what I mean.
I read the entire Bible from the perspective of Paul in Romans through Philemon according to the following principle:
Rightly dividing the Word is the goal of this article, and it is an indispensable key to proper understanding of the Bible. The abundance of scriptural evidence detailed in the third section makes it very clear that Revelation is doctrine for Israel, which was written to Jews who believed in Jesus Christ, by an apostle of the circumcision, for direct application in the prophetic "kingdom" dispensation. At the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, God placed that dispensation in abeyance in 70 AD, to be resumed in the future tribulation.
The entire book of Revelation, including chapters 1-3, is deeply rooted in Old Testament prophecy. It is doctrinally aligned with the epistles of Peter, James, John, and Jude, all of whom were apostles of the circumcision, as well as to the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Hebrews, and the Old Testament.
The dispensation of grace in which we now live is revealed in Romans through Philemon, our Apostle Paul's letters to the Gentiles, with Acts being the book of transition between the two dispensations.

I know Hans about the false Lordship Salvation gospel that sadly is the order of the day in the professing church. It is not faith alone in Christ's Finished Work and they give a dodgy definition of repentance as a turning from sin as a qualification for coming to the Cross. That is straight up works nullifying Grace and confuses justification and sanctification. Their Gospel is one of faith plus faithfulness and it doesn't save. You've also got all these Unscriptural methods even in circles that are wise to the deceit of Lordship Salvation which exhort the sinner to perform some act to appropriate salvation, usually the reciting of a formulaic prayer. This too easily takes the attention off Christ's work and transference on to the act performed as the ground of confidence. That is sinking sand, not the solid rock of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. That too doesn't save. With all this confusion and deception, it is hard to know who really is a saved believer but I wouldn't want to be too dismissive and suspicious. If someone confesses that they're going to Heaven all because of what Christ did for them and nothing else, I accept them as a brother or sister and aim to receive whom Christ has received.
You're right Hans. The Bible has to be rightly divided and although all of it is written for is, it is not all written to us. We are in the dispensation of Grace but I would maintain that salvation has always been and will be into the Tribulation and Millenium predicated on faith alone. In past dispensations, it was in the Christ who was to come and since The Word became flesh, in the Christ who has come. We may have to agree to disagree on that one but we both have the right Gospel for the day we live in and that is what matters.
