      The New Zealand government tried to eliminate smoking by taxing tobacco and cigarettes to the point where a 50g packet costs $125. Now we have an epidemic of robberies (mostly ram raids), armed hold ups and convenience store owners getting bashed. Tobacco products are now the currency of criminal gangs. Clever eh?
