King James Version
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
1 Corinthians 13:13
1599 Geneva Bible
13 And now abideth faith, hope and love, even these three: but the chiefest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
New Matthew Bible
Version Information
The New Matthew Bible (NMB) is a gentle update of a little-known but important Reformation Bible, the Matthew Bible. It is not a new translation. The chief editor is Ruth Magnusson Davis, a scholar of Early Modern English, who founded the New Matthew Bible Project in 2009. The NMB New Testament was published in 2016 under the name “The October Testament.” Work on the Old Testament is ongoing.
The Matthew Bible, also known as Matthew's Version, was published in 1537 by John Rogers under the pseudonym “Thomas Matthew.” It contained the New Testament translated by William Tyndale, and as much of the Old Testament as he completed before he was captured and executed. The balance of the Old Testament and the Apocrypha were Myles Coverdale's translations, chiefly from German sources, except that Rogers translated the Prayer of Mannaseh. Henry VIII licensed the Matthew Bible for use in England.
13 Now faith, hope, and love, these three things abide, but the chief of these is love.
1 Korinther 13:13
Luther Bibel 1545
13 Nun aber bleibt Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe, diese drei; aber die Liebe ist die größte unter ihnen.
Translation:
13 But now faith, hope, love abides, these three; but love is the greatest among them.
LOVE is not the same as CHARITY
DeleteMatthew 25:46
King James Version
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 25:46
1599 Geneva Bible
46 And these shall go into everlasting pain, and the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 25:46
New Matthew Bible, modernized version of translation of the New Testament by William Tyndale, published in 1537
46 And these shall go into everlasting pain, but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthaeus 25:46
Luther Bibel 1545
46 Und sie werden in die ewige Pein gehen, aber die Gerechten in das ewige Leben.
Translation:
And they will go in the eternal pain, but the righteous in the eternal life.
PAIN is not the same as PUNISHMENT
Delete2 Thessalonians 2:3
King James Version
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
2 Thessalonians 2:3
1599 Geneva Bible
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition.
2 Thessalonians 2:3
New Matthew Bible, modernized version of translation of the New Testament by William Tyndale, published in 1537
3 Let no man deceive you by any means. For the Lord comes not unless there come a departing first and that sinful man be revealed – the son of perdition
'a falling away' is not the same as 'a departing'.
In fact 'a departing' is the rapture on the Day of Christ.
DeleteGod only gave the English speakers a Bible from a King.
All other peoples on earth speaking in many other languages weren't blessed this way, so this means that God prefers the English language.
Of course this isn't true, but this is what KJV-onlyists believe.
They don't want to know that the first Bible in English in what is now the US was the Geneva Bible, brought over to the 'new world' by the 'Pilgrim Fathers'.
Delete@s1988teve The Pilgrim Fathers were persecuted by that Freemason King James and that's why they first fled to my country, the Netherlands and later to what would become the USA.
The Bible that was made in Geneva, Switzerland, due to the persecution by the Roman Catholic church in England under queen 'Bloody Mary' is the true reformation Bible and not the KJV, which is its counterfeit.
King James even put the occult and Babylonian word 'easter' in his 'authorized' bible and KJV-onlyists defend it!
It's ABSURD to believe that God-the Lord JESUS chose a BRITISH King as His instrument to produce the so called best bible in English.
The KJV is a STATE version and the version of the Anglican church, and nowadays this church closely cooperates with the true church of Satan, the Roman Catholic church, the disguised Luciferian Roman Empire.
The KJV is MASONIC!
King James became king in 1603 so he had nothing to do with the sinking of the Spanish armada and the gunpowder plot of 1605 was a FALSE FLAG to make it seem that King James was a true Protestant.
Well he was not!
He persecuted the true Protestants like the Pilgrim Fathers!

Actually, the King James is the seventh English version of the Bible if you want to do some firsthand research, and not just parrot what others say. "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times."
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed.
When you get done Googling those verses, you can read books (plural) about the sinking of the Spanish armada in 1588 and the gunpowder plot of 1605 to learn more about how the Lord protected England to give the English speaking world their Bible. Gosh, how did He know so many would speak English?
Get thee behind me, Satan.
Delete@Janet Lawrence I trust the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts of the Bible, God's Word, and JESUS is God.

What’s also disturbing is that we look up words in our translations in the Hebrew and Greek to find it’s meaning. If the word has been changed from the original then the Hebrew wouldn’t be right either.
